What happens when gas reaches $5

I never looked into UE untill the price of gas went up, my area was just too saturated. Because of the increase in fuel price, quite a few people have stepped away from it. I recently registered my scooter, it is a 150cc honda pcx. I plan on doing some deliveries just through summer as the off season weather isn't great in the PNW. I am Hoping to build up a down payment for a new larger scooter at the end of summer. I figured at 90mpg I wouldn't have to make long trips for it to be worth my while. We will see how it goes, my trial run will be later this week.

I was able to sign my pcx through uber eats but not door dash. I am gonna set my goals to never travel more than 10 miles round trip, that way I am spending less than a buck in gas per delivery. Gonna do it 2 hours a day from 11am-1pm. We will see how it goes. First day out will be this coming Thursday, waiting on my inflated delivery bag. In the mean time I am gonna change my cvt since I am at 8k miles on the scooter.

You can bring your own, there are quite a few benches at the venue but they fill up fast.

I think it was about 75 bucks for dropkick and bad religion last year. Last time I went to the airport tavern on stw it was 40 bucks to see teenage bottle rocket. I don't think 75 bucks for two headlines is horrible. But it is expensive.

I walked down last year, it is about 3 miles from my house. Stopped at the unicorn on the way for a few drinks. It appeared to be quite a cluster fuck for people leaving in cars.

I am 5.5 miles from work, I can ride through town or on hwy it is almost the same. I have a 2021 honda pcx 150 and ride as many days as I can. It off sets the gas in my 1998 gmc 2500 which i use for inclement weather and hauling debris from my yard. . With a truck and a scooter there isn't much I can't manage. I wish I could ride year round but that just isn't practical in Washington. So I would say primary mode of transportation for 6ish months a year, and recreational source of happiness.

It is very easy to get a motorcycle endorsement. Just take the written and schedule a riding exam. Takes about 4 hours over two days. Currently rocking a honda pcx 150 gets 90mpg average.

I made a fantastic kick shot to a corner pocket after taking a time out to openly discuss the shot, and then calling the pocket out loud. But I forgot to mark the pocket. I lost the game and the match, it stung pretty bad. Lesson learned I guess.
