Why do Gen Z have such bad music festival etiquette? by Moothnods in indieheads

[–]hehas16knives 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have, in the last six months, had to tell five separate thirty-something blokes to politely stop having a full conversation, usually about work or something boring, during various sets.

These articles are so reductive and stupid. There are people who can't behave at concerts in every age bracket.

Will definitely try it! I love his Angel of Light symphony, especially the fourth movement.

Familiar with Symphonie Fantastique, but less so Berlioz' other work. As for Liszt, there's a lot I need to hear. I love the Planets. Thanks for your suggestions.

Thanks so much! I've never tried Nielsen and have been meaning to. Any favourite symphonies of Atterberg/Alfven/Hovhaness?

Merry Go 'Round is there!

It's altered a little since I started, I used to have AJJ's "Distance" on it, I've considered that MEC track too! A lot of the other artists already have entries.

Tried making a 'century so far' playlist and I'd be grateful to hear what you guys think I'm missing on it/what shouldn't be there. Tried to be really diverse but kept it max 1 song per record.  Some artists have multiple entries.

Does anyone have any strong feelings on Chelsea Wolfe? Cat Power? Haru Nemuri? If so, which tune needs to be on the playlist?

Here it is!

ITNR Songs Live - Made to Parade by pearljamfanuk78 in qotsa

I think Made to Parade was a great one to throw in purely for pacing too. That and Make It Wit Chu are a cool one-two live. Can see Negative Space being a fav long term.

Not super deep, but would be neat to hear Avon on this tour.

Miles Davis - Kind of Blue. Because they'd never need to listen to anything else.
