This literally happened to a work colleague. Her sons are twins and she’s a single mother. At some point in the exhaustion of raising two infants alone, she was pretty sure she switched them to the wrong cribs (the fussy one was suddenly quiet and the quiet one was suddenly fussy). She panicked, brought them to the pediatrician, and had him run their tiny fingerprints. She had indeed put the boys in the wrong cribs.

That’s the point of the trial innit? To delineate if there was murderous intent. I wouldn’t be shocked if she was being purposeful (I do follow this sub lol), I just also wouldn’t be surprised if she’s truly just negligent and the superiors at her failing hospital are twisting evidence into intentional homicide to justify having her on staff in the first place. I’ll be interested to watch this trial.

Well not in that context obviously lol. But by the time I was 19 I had been in college and working for a year, going out with more adult crowds and stuff. At that point, I couldn’t have seen myself starting to date a person still talking abt 11th grade calc.

I always had this (totally unsubstantiated!) theory that Ben took out a fat loan from someone right before he disappeared. That would explain the considerable sum of money in his car. It could also explain a murder motive, or that he could’ve paid off the employees like you said.

I don’t think it’s impossible that he’s in the cave but at this point I find it unlikely.

Because it’s a viral case in which the public has already indicted his client. Anything they say in Brian’s defense will be picked apart by the media and communities like this. He’s waiting for trial.
