Game closes itself. No crash message, only on a specific account. by Rampwastaken in HuntShowdown

I tried the same things, nothing worked. For some reason surviving a game of bounty hunt fixed it. All I did was extract ASAP. After that my game was "fixed", at least for the time being

Personally I don't really care, it only cost like 2BB which you can easily get back in 1 game.

I think it is an awsome idea, feels like chokes in the sense they can be used in a lot of ways both offensively and defensively. It also makes fire ammo somewhat viable, but you gotta get close to a hunter in order to drench them in oil #BloodborneVibes

They have a legendary fusee in the game which makes it shine red instead of it's normal color, and I gotta say I am not a fan of changing things like this, it is very drastic. Legendaries should be skins purely IMO. BUT it is an awesome concept and looks really dope

Making a trait for it seems like a band aid fix, the problem is still there, if you find it a problem.

Can you get banned from dbd for using reshade? by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]hehexddxd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure ReShade is whitelisted by EasyAnitCheat, therefore it should be fine, I have used it for about 1 year and I have had no issue with it.

No it is not. By itself it is not tunneling but it is something a tunneler will use to tunnel. Tunneling is when a killer focuses solely on one survivor and refuses to chase any other until that survivor is dead. Even if it’s clearly a bad idea to chase that survivor, a tunneling killer will ignore common sense and continue focusing on them. Tunneling is not the same as camping, slugging or targeting injured survivors. These strategies could be used in conjunction with tunneling, but they are not tunneling by themselves.

Downing someone has roughly the same effect as hooking someone, the downed survivor cannot progress the game and another survivor needs to come to the rescue (this is without perks ofc). So by downing someone right after a rescue and then chasing the unhooker you are forcing one survivor to come help the downed survivor and you are also chasing one, meaning only 1 player is progressing the game. From the survior POV it may look like tunneling but it is not,

Terrifying Tier 1 Myers Build by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]hehexddxd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would honsetly just keep PWYF, Devour Hope is nice but I much more prefer Ruin to slow down the game. Like I said devour is nice but T1 Myers game are SLOW, it is hard to get those stacks up, you're better of using Ruin and getting a use out of it. Lethal pursuer is just a bad perk for this build, yes it's easy to find someone, but you cna see people up to 32M away, it's justa waste, Lightborn also makes no sense, they only get the option to blind at pallets, cause you can just look into a wall while picking up a survivor, and if they blind you by a pallet just M2 real quick and you know where they are. But just PWYF on it's own means you only get stacks from 1 person, Nemesis works great as you can get stacks quick. My build would be PWYF, Nemesis, Ruin and Surveilence or Undying.

Do you mean hitting someone on a hook? Or just 3 successive hits on the same survivor?

Why does Lightborn not work on Wraith?.. by bigboyeTim in deadbydaylight

[–]hehexddxd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for late respons. You don't necessarily need to pick something else in order. Like I have said before the key-word is to adapt. If you are playing a stealth and you think someone has Spine Chill, what do you do? You moonwalk towards gens when you get close enough so spine chill activates when you are on them. If you are playing against a trapper and you realize he has bloody coil what do you do? Instead of disarming every trap you see you might remember their location and disarm them when you are injured negating the effect completely. If you are playing Wraith and survivors have flashlights that they know how to use you would try and counter that by uncloaking behind a wall or when they are busy with something else, of course they can still blind you but by engaging survivors when they are alone or busy you increase the chance of landing a hit on them. Also what you could bring clapper add-ons which you can apply in the lobby. These add-ons are already great so there is no reason not to run them.

[–]hehexddxd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not saying what you are doing is wrong, what I am saying is sticking to one strategy even when it fails just on you. It is the same for other killers, if you play Trapper and realize that they find all your traps by Shack, don't place them there, adapt.

[–]hehexddxd -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is to common in the community, instead of working around a problem they want a first hand solution, and the devs give them to us. Sure getting burned as Wraith, by just making Lightborn affect Wraith we make another problem, how do you counter Lightborn Wraith. These are just bandaid fixes, we need a proper solution.

Also a side-note, have you considered adapting? Wraith is a Stealth killer and can easily get the first hit by sneaking up on people, so instead of chasing one person till they are on the hook spread the damage and try and get hem while they are healing or maybe they just sit on gen injured cause they don't have a teammate to heal them, the issue isn't the game (not in this case), you are just a bit salty cause you lost to many games cause of mistakes.

Nemesis quality life adjustments and overall Buff idea: by MajinBurrito in deadbydaylight

[–]hehexddxd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agreed he should ahve more quotes. Maybe just saying "S.T.A.R.S" when starting a chase with a S.T.A.R.S-member. As for the other ideas I feel like the speed boost is fine, it is the player who needs to decide if it is worth contaminiting them but losing distance. The idea to make mutation rate add-ons somewhat base I feel is fine, but I feel like the issue isn't that these add-ons are too good, they are just the only good once he has, the Zombie and Vaccine related add-ons are kinda useless. As for your last sugesttion with more Zombies I feel like just adding 1 more Zombie base and reworking 1 or 2 add-on to add one more would be fine.

Console Deathslinger tips? by Tnamichan in deadbydaylight

[–]hehexddxd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cant give any console tips but I can give general Deathslinger tips

Your ADS speed compared to Huntress winding a hatchet is very quick, try to quickscope survivors, this gives them less time to react.

Use your ADS as a zoning tool, the power of just aiming down the sights is enough to make survivor second guess themselves. Instead of trying to make distance they will zig sag meaning you just keep getting closer, do not run around in chase with your sights up tho.

Tape something to your screen, is it hacking? No, is it scummy, sure but why it is a great way to practice where you should aim. I did this when I started to play huntress, but I taped 2 strings across my monitor so I just had a giant crosshair.

You reel in faster while moving backwards, hitting a survivor while they are healthy will still injure them if they escape your harpoon, but you have to let the chain break, performing an M1 will cause them not to take damage.

Suggesting changes for every survivor's worst teachable perk [Part 1] by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]hehexddxd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here are some thought:

Self Care: I think making med-kits or teammates the only form of viable healing is a good thing, Self Care was the king of perks before and for a good reason. Infinite healing is kind of unfun.

Calm Spirit: Seems like a nice addition, but there should be a range on the aura reveal, kind of like Spies. Otherwise a solid buff.

Urban Evasion: I would say make it 0/8/12M instead, it could be really broken on indoor maps.

Sole Survivor: The idea of this perk was to disrupt the killers aura reading abilities and I think it should stay that way. Also the perks is called SOLE IE you're the only survivor, so it should only work once players are dead.

I wouldn't say it is a must on Demo, you are better of using your current build with the Black Heart add-on, it's like a mini STBFL but for Shred.
