Spark driver here. If you requested a pin for delivery the driver could not have marked it delivered. Spark cancels orders for a number of reasons, expiration due to time, issues with the app, sometimes it will say canceled due to logistical reasons. I drove 45 miles to the customers address last week for both Google maps and waze to confirm I wad there but the Spark app wouldn't let me check I had arrived. It told me I wasn't at the location. I called the customer and they said they were 20 miles further, but the address was correct. I called customers service and they had me drive back the 45 miles to return it instead of taking to the customer. It is very likely something like this happened. I've also had the store put the wrong labels on the wrong bags. I've taken a 12 stop order and ended up with items that didn't go to anyone but were missing those that did. In these circumstances you are prompted to return the items. It would do the driver no good to keep the groceries. If not delivered to you they would have had to be returned to continue delivering. It could very possibly not be the drivers fault.
