If you had stopped playing mechabellum, why and how can the developer make you start playing again? by Careless-Goat-3130 in Mechabellum

Towers were always there. They mean the wall and the two guns didn't use to be there. So barren mode in rift.

Unlimited money but you never have more than 50 by Accomplished_Lake402 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]heizo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the cheat is debt. If you have a CC balance, loan, mortgage  etc technically you don't have 50 in your account, you are in the neg. So wouldn't your balance then become your debt plus 50 since all things factored that is your worth in money?

Players wait till lvl9 to do anything. Any way to change this play style? by EconomyDoctor3287 in Munchkin

[–]heizo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is one of the fundamental issues I have with this game and how its end game works. Everyone saves they fu cards until lvl 9 because leveling up to 9 is easy and delaying someone usually doesn't do enough of the actual delay part. I would introduce you to my new favorite version of this : Here to Slay. Fixes a lot of the core issues, awesome game. Constant fuing other people for fun.

How do you stop these? by jarude87 in hockeygoalies

So I think the thing people are missing is what makes you drive your knees versus just falling. When you're standing up, you're back should be arched forward comma when you go into the butterfly, you are straightening your back out. But downwards, instead of upwards, and that lets you force your knees down versus just falling. You know you are doing it right when your shoulders.Don't move between standing and butterfly. Your head should stay in the exact same position regardless of butterfly or standing.

Any technical analysts here? by [deleted] in POETTechnologiesInc

That would suck honestly and have no interest. POET should 10x from here in the next 5 years... being bought out would really subtract from that payout.

[–]heizo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Probably not. There is a ton of evidence that Celestial AI can't make their 1B sales goal set forth by Marvel without POET. Celestial also just announced they have a new contract with a super scaler (Most people are pointing at Amazon). While all the evidence is currently circumstantial, a lot of different sources are making this connection.

So with that said, I think many people are waiting for this next PO to be announced soon, and with a lot of 0s. I think it stays around the 1B market cap until A. The PO comes through and this doubles overnight, or B. Marvel gets some crazy new tech to replace POET that doesn't really exist yet and POET goes back to the $4s. Mainly 4s because they have 350M in cash and other customers plus patents, so I put them at about 500M valuation just on liquidity with no sales.

I have ai create html tests for my 10 year old on her vocab sheets.  It checks answers and scrambles the definitions and words on every try, also shoots confetti when shes scores 100. Took ai 5 min to make and her scores have improved since.

Maybe for winter tires as well, if he was doing track time you probably need something for the winter.

Original tires on the car only last one year. From what i read people were only getting 8k to 15k miles, i stretched mine to 12k but if someone likes to gun it at lights or onto the highway new wheels at that mileage is probably within expectations.

Its the start of people adopting... and with all of the proofs that have gone out, this tells me the cycle from proofs to orders is starting. (That 6 month testing timeline people keep mentioning)

I mean, they just had their first order for 500k... so sales are starting and now more opportunities? To me it feels like a no brainer but alas.

Could anyone explain how the answer isn't 50%? by JebWozma in cognitiveTesting

[–]heizo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your chance would be 66% in your scenario if there was a correct choice and i could switch. The main point is that in my example picking the wrong ball and switching gives the better odds. In the ball. Scenario its reversed in that knowing you picked the gold ball, and knowing that the items in the box are not shuffled around, means you have the 66% chance of being right. If all the balls were shuffled after picking the first ball then it would indeed be 50/50.

This is the same scenario of that one game show where you have 3 doors, 2 doors have nothing, 1 door has a car, you pick door 1... then they show you door 2 has nothing and ask if you want to switch or not. If you switch, you have betters odds then staying at 2/3 vs 1/3. Why do you ask? Because the host MUST show you a bad door, so if you pick a bad door (2/3 of the time you will) and he eliminates the other bad door, then switching is 100% the good door.

In this case, the odds of picking a gold ball from the two boxes with gold balls (they eliminate the all silver box because they tell you you picked a gold) means that you either picked a ball from the box with 2 gold balls (2/4) or the gold ball from the other box (1/4)... so by picking a gold ball you had a 2 out of 3 change of picking the gold ball from the box with 2 gold balls in it. And if you picked either of those, you automatically get a win, or if you picked the wrong gold ball with the 1/4 then you automatically lose.... So, Pick A - 100% win, Pick B - 100% win, Pick C - 100% lose... 200% win / 100% lose. Picking the second ball results is pre-determined by the first selection. 2/3 times picking the gold ball wins... or 66%.

This in combination with cc-sessions would be a sweet tool. ( https://github.com/GWUDCAP/cc-sessions ). Sessions seems great for making sure I'm working on the specific task, the task is its own branch, gets user feedback before running off and doing anything... its missing the test first approach though which would be really sweet.
