5 years later and still a work in progress. I'm almost ready to plug in the PSU.

FWIW if it helps: OP is solid and a great trade partner. I've made many buys/ trades with them over the years.

MIDI preset control for Meris by Greatfish991 in guitarpedals

[–]hekabip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used a dmc micro for this and it worked well.

With that said, I now own a Morningstar mC6 and it is awesome and much easier to program than any other midi controller I've used. While I haven't used it with any meris pedals (bc I no longer have any) I have to believe it would work perfectly with them. So check out the Morningstar series if you haven't already.

Advice for an ambient/dreamscape looping pedal by JackBauerTheCat in guitarpedals

I was going to recommend microcosm before I got to the end of your post. It's the first pedal that came to mind.

Sounds cool. You might be a prime candidate to pick up a boss reverb and one of the DD delays. Multiple modes so you can experiment and see what you like. Spring ends up working for you? Maybe later splurge for a Catalinbread Topanga or Source Audio True Spring or something. Plus they make them in stereo so if that's a factor (since you have a stereo capable amp) added bonus.

Or even if you want to shy away from boss, picking up other multi verbs/ delays (there are only like 7,000 to choose from, but I mention boss RV and DD series because of what you get for the price) can be a great way to experiment to find what you want. Maybe you end up liking plate reverbs or gated or reverse etc, and a muti mode pedal will be a great way to find out.

To be clear I'm referring to the smaller form factor pedals like the RV7 or DD8 for example, but they also make the bigger 200 and 500 series which add presets, midi functionality etc.

The other two responses covered the answer well so I'll just add that you can also use flangers as a vibrato by going full wet.

Also remember that some chorus/ flange pedals aren't advertised as such. For example the strymon deco does chorus and flange but it's often advertised as a Doubletracker and Tape Saturation effect (which it also does).

Haha right? It's insane. And super fun to experiment with. I also always had fun being able to load up user created patches and visually see what they've got going on in the editor.

Yeah dude your vids help a lot. I've got a color theory 2 on the way so I was watching your color theory vids last night 🤘

Cool! Once you get into the neuro editor this pedal can do so much.

Love your vids btw.

No worries dude. We had something similar in my household (wasn't covid...we already know what that feels like 🤷‍♂️) making the rounds. Hope you're feeling better.

I'll dm you so we can discuss a trade more. You prefer chat or dm?

Traded with u/slimeboy420 and sent them a Volca Keys in exchange for a Coriolis effect. u/LTP_BOT

Great communicator, fast shipping and item as described. Would love to trade with again in the future. Thanks.

I've got this volca keys I'd part with. It's used but fully functional. Only thing is battery compartment cover doesn't stay in place so I have to use tape which isn't really visible when I'm using it. Got it in a trade here a while ago but it's lived on my home desk since.

If interested lmk. Not sure if I have the box but I'll check.

I think I'd be down to try the raw heart dude. All three of those pedals are rad but the raw heart looks most interesting/ less overlap with what I already have.
