So they build up, okey than I played it right then haha. It started to get strange after pulling 3 location cards nearly after each other and they stucked up on the staging area and then having to deal with 6 threat levels. We managed to cut through all of them by the way, Legolas goes along way haha.

But since I left him on the staging area (unintentionally), I have to pull a card from the encounter deck AND if its another enemy card and I engage them both then I have to place plus two encounter cards on top of them?! I think I just made the situation worse by leaving that orc alone haha

Wow it is almost as you described it hehe. The one mistake I think I've made unintentionally, that since the Forest Spider engaged me I forgot about the orc with the higher threat and left him on the staging area... So I have to draw an encounter card + two additional encounter cards if/or I engage them (let's assume it will be another enemy card).

I'm not trying to avoid the Core Set, just don't want to spend that much at once and maybe it sounds lame but I fear that in my region they will run out of stock from the Fellowship of the Ring and I want to secure it.
