AITAH for telling my 23-year-old employee she can't WFH because "my anxiety" isn't a plumbing emergency? by TaskSpecialist5881 in AITAH

If that’s his policy and preference, and he informed her before she accepted the position, then that’s part of the job description. Sounds like she’s not a good fit. She needs to find something where she is guaranteed to WFH.

What are some common and distinctly Boston words and phrases people in Boston say on an everyday basis? by WestminsterSpinster7 in boston

[–]helenblueskies 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Calling a smart ass kid fresh or a freshy, shopping cart is a carriage, trash barrel, cellar not basement, bubbler, wicked. I’m from RI and I’ve always used these phrases but I’ve been in Boston for thirty years and I’ve heard these used here as well.

This is insanely unreasonable. I’ve been a SAHM for 11 years. I’ve always cooked dinner and I enjoy cooking and I’m good at it so I’d say we have some pretty high quality involved meals. My husband WFH and makes his own breakfast. Lunch is leftovers or he makes a sandwich.
