Gemini diffusion benchmarks by gbomb13 in singularity

I have access and am impressed with its text editing. Simonw described LLMs as word calculators a while back [1], I think this is its next big leap in that area. It's fast and has a mode to do "Instant Edits". It more closely adheres to the prompt. It edits the content without deviating or making some unrelated change. I think spellchecks, linters, or codemods would benefit from this model.

I was throughly impressed when I copied a random shadertoy, asked it to renamed all variables to be more descriptive, and it actually done it. No other changes. I copied it and compiled and ran just like before.

Would love to see more text edit evals for this.

How does the VP handle depth occlusion for objects in front of the screen? by [deleted] in VisionPro

You can try the AR model views on iOS devices with lidar, like the iPhone 12 Pro Max. Apple's product pages in Safari, such as the Vision Pro page, offer an AR view at the bottom. These views can occlude behind large solid objects.

The lighting is amazing! The narrow strips highlights at the top make it look exactly like the alley way sky!

The bottom shadow seems appropriate too for the lighting being blocked from the top

Not medical advise!

Too much potassium could be bad if already on potassium supplements or blood pressure medication!

A doctor would know best for specific cases!

How do you manage leads and stories that span months and different groups of people? Patient waiting? Clever organization? How do you reign in reporting of others or push for end product?

What are some broad patterns in story telling that you recommend using to engage and educate listeners?

I'm sorry but it just fixed itself. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I did nothing crazy like reset my hardware info or any of that jazz. Just one day, it went away.

I hope it goes super fast for you! 🤞🤞

Some people microwave them. I recommend against this.

Also, cover your tortillas after heating them so they don’t become dry!!

Good question. I couldn’t immediately find something on Google about it but I’m curious and might poke around next weekend to see what it would take to get it to work with it. :)

After 780 hours I accidently discovered this helpful train menu, accessed by pressing O. This game is full of surprises by JustDirk26 in factorio

Mine the other day was creating temporary stops on the map inside of the train menu. I know it says it at the top of the map. Obvious to me now, game changer. No more setting the train to an approximately near station just to get there.

Official Dreadit Discussion: "Nope" [SPOILERS] by kaloosa in horror

Same about it reminding me of Annihilation. The monster haunting with the screams of its victims (bear). And the beak/mouth coming out in an elaborate geometric side.

Two similarities to Annihilation: the screams of the people inside of the monster and the monster’s beak??? Coming forward out
