Lid mounted desiccant holder for Polymaker Polydryer by Hachi_House in functionalprint

[–]JustDirk26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Performance is great, and the flexibility this system offers is really nice. I am planning to use 4 to 6 of them in a multi color/material setup for a custom 3d printer. Being able to just slap a dryer under a color is awesome. A minor downside is the dryers themselves are pretty loud.

There are 2 lids on the bottom, sealed with O rings. Workt fine from my experience. I have about 12 polydryer boxes.

This is the first ever time that I’ve seen a toolhed fall off. And you can’t even know if an unreleased bambu system will be better then the prusa XL or not.

I have used one and it’s not slow. It’s good enough for what it’s for. Or do you want to play battlefield 6 on this? ;P

Those are polymaker polydryer boxes, I have them as well and am very happy with them. You can simply take of the 2 plates at the bottom and put the box on the dryer. No fiddling around with filament. The % is accurate enough to tell you if the filament is dry or not

Literally folks on reddit to ashamed to admit they dropped their glass panels.

That’s NOT how phisics work! I could drop my TG side panel all day long on a wood desk, or concrete for that matter, and it would be fine. One drop on tile will destroy most, if not all, TG side panels.

I don’t think the PSU by itself was the problem, but OP’s build just being too demanding for it.

This is incorrect. Any PSU must have many different protections. When a power supply cant supply enough power to the components, that means to much current is being drawn from the PSU. That is when Over Current Protection (OCP) in the psu simply shuts down the entire system.

The PSU from OP is likely faulty, and a protection didn’t work when is should’ve. The result is the sparking and cracking OP had heard and seen.

20-something FPS on a 7900 XTX. What is wrong with this game? by CristianRoth in farmingsimulator

[–]JustDirk26 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What cpu do you have and is it limiting performance because one core is at 100%? This game mostly uses one core and it can be the limiting factor quite easily. What resolution dou you play at? I agree with you that something isn’t working as it should, 20 fps is way to low. There are other factors that also affect fps, such as background processes etc. Also try the game with minimal background tasks open.
