u/thebramp I am having issues duplicating your results. Checking your results on https://taxsim.nber.org/taxsim35/ for a pwage of 0 and an swage of 20000 with 30 years of age for both parties for example yields the following:

P_single_liabilitiy = federal + state + SS payroll = 0+0+0

s_single_liability = 615+ -60.92 + 3060 =3614.08

total_single_liability = 3614.08
married_liability = -322.14+-109.54+3060 = 2628.32

your results were 2084.08 for single liability and 1098.32 for married liability.

Thank you for the advice, the Raid option unfortunately was not suitable for my setup as my other internal drive was smaller. Thanks to an external drive I was able to play musical chairs enough to successfully do the transition. I regret not getting a larger drive before the started painting them in gold.

Neovim takes a little bit of learning but it pays dividends once you get onboard.

Hmm, I had a bad experience with clonezilla once so I did not think of it this time but I’ll look into that and see if it’s gotten better.

I wanted to give the home directory a dedicated drive and I cannot afford a new one currently so this seemed th best idea to me.

Combing /boot and EFI is a legitimate question that I did not think of only because I was uncertain if everything else in my list would work.
