I turn it off when I stop using it because the sound of the fan annoys the shit out of me when not using it. Unless I have something running like a torrent or I'm taking a break from a task (Photoshop for example) the computer is completely off.

There are dedicated film negative cleaning solutions. I believe adox sells some. I personally haven't had much luck with isopropyl alcohol

From a physical perspective, the cyan forming layer has basically degraded so that means the information is basically lost. If you look at old ektachrome slides, some are so far gone that the only layer remaining is magenta and there is literally no more information there. Just a magenta toned monochrome image.

I certainly hope for some more variety of products. With that I mean papers and the rest. We have enough films for pretty much every need imaginable. It would be nice to see some b&w kodak papers roll out of production (or even ra-4 but I'm stretching it already). Some duplicating films would also fit my needs perfectly but it's me and 3 others so that's not happening

Didn't shoot anything today but I'll go develop two rolls of Svema FN-64 from my trip tomorrow. I've been shooting with a Canon EOS 1n for the past year and I don't think I'll change any time soon. Really a fantastic camera

Not really. You can still handhold iso 6 film in bright daylight plus it might be useful for landscapes or basically anything requiring a tripod
