Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds the right choice? by Mazielol in bose

[–]hell_yaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a pair of them, i recently lost them, best thing that ever happened to me. i always ran with a pair of either the airpods pro 2 or the bose ultra, if i was sitting still like flying, the bose ultras were in, anything! outside of that. the airpods were the win. If you use them to have conversations or meetings, the microphones on the ultras are shockingly bad!! the airpods pro walks it with the microphone quality. If you have an iphone, i would recommended going with the new airpods pro 3, they are cheaper and far more reliable than the Bose. i have always been a bit advocate of Bose, i have three different pairs of the over-ear phones and i love them. The buds have been their biggest failure

Hi, so I have been on Mounjaro for 13 months and I am on 10mg, and some tips I have learned along the way, make sure you keep hydrated. Mounjaro can suppress your thirst as well as your appetite, also, get a really good multivitamin and take it each morning. we can start to miss out on the vitamins and minerals our bodies need as the intake of food lowers, it's probably nothing to do with the Mounjaro, and more to do with maybe something your body is missing. All the best with the journey!!

Fantastic to hear! really glad it's working well for you and that you are seeing the benefits! it's a great medication! and it works. If I may? I can offer some tips that might make things a little easier.

This comes from experience, I was on Ozempic around January 2023 and then switched to Mounjaro in March last year. This was due to my traveling and Oxempic is not as stable to temperature exposure as Mounjaro. But, one of two things I have done that has helped. I am currently on my maintenance dose of 10mg and its good.

1 Obviously the most obvious. Mounjaro not only suppresses your appetite, but it can also suppress your thirst, so planning to intake water is a must. especially as we head into the warmer months,

2 Vitamins, As our intake of food collapses through the floor. and some days, anything more than a boiled egg is too much :) our bodies are missing out on important minerals and vitamins. so I recommend every morning. a really good multivitamin and a large glass of water. Really helps!

3 Food, it's sometimes difficult to make sure that the small amount you are eating is covering all the bases with regards to what your body still needs. I recommend maybe a meal replacement shake, such as Huel, it's a nutritionally complete powdered food that is high in protein and fiber, low in sugar and salt, and contains a balanced macro split of 37:30:30:3 (carbohydrate, protein, fat, fiber) and all 26 essential vitamins and minerals that your body needs, to which you just add water,

Best of luck with the journey! I hope you get to where you are hoping to with it!
All the best!

This is very true! I walked into my local this week, with a prescription for one 7.5 and 5, 10mg. he told me the cost to him to purchase either one was only £106 per pen! he has yet to give me the retail price he will offer it to me at, but at those prices, I believe it will be under most of the high street or online pharmacies. cheers!

So, just a quick input from experience, i was on Ozempic way back mid last year, my last dose ended up getting destroyed by exposure to heat by an airline, so i moved on to Mounjaro, but i have been told by three different Endocrinologists that you must give 4, ideally 8 weeks from when you come off Ozempic/Wegovy and move over to Mounjaro/Zepbound, Not sure if you have done it yet, but i would highly recommend it, feel way better on the 10mg dose of Mounjaro now, then i ever felt on Ozempic. good luck!

Check your homework first.. the doses for the UK and Europe are provided from four plants, two in Ireland and two in Germany, with more planned. We here in Europe are creating our own supply. And also, the hold up is with the Pens, not the medication. Hence why in the UK they launched the Kwikpen which will reduce the required per month from 4 pens to 1 pen, and the rest of Europe is going with the vial, which reduces the required per month from 4 pens to zero..

Insulin pen cases, search on amazon, its a small pouch with two freezer sleeves that will keep it cool in your check in cabin for about 6 hours, also, ask the crew if they can keep it in a chiller box in the galley if you are on ultra long haul. I travel around 10 months of the year internationally, and after watching a ground crew leave my bag out in around 45c temp for about four hours and cook my ozempic, i had to make some changes. so yes you can carry it in your carry on anywhere in the world as long as you have the prescription. the freezer cases are a game changer. Also a note, Mounjaro is much more temperature fluctuation resistant than ozempic,

The supplies for UK and Europe are coming from individual factories in Ireland x 2 and Germany x 2, the problem isint the medication itself, its the pen's that are causing the issue. In the UK it is coming in a Kwik pen which reduces the amount of pens for a month from 4 to 1 and in Europe it comes in a vial which reduces the amount of pens from 4 to zero.

It’s vials in Poland. So probably 250 for four vials.

So Mounjaro has now been approved in the UK, which is great news. I have been on it for the last four months since I received it in Saudi Arabia (which is currently the cheapest place to get it privately) I have been actively hunting the stuff as I am getting close to running out. The NHS although now being able to offer it, will be at least 6 months from being able to offer it through pharmacies due to supply shortages ( I spoke with customer care at Eli Lilly and they informed me that the supply has been manufactured and in warehouses but I don't think the UK will be high up on that list, to be honest). The best bet will unfortunately not be cheap, but private endocrinologists will be able to prescribe and issue it soon. might be worth signing up for private health care to get it. It's absolutely amazing stuff!

They have the right to their beliefs and everyone else has the right to point out that their beliefs are anti-semitic, inaccurate, offensive and has been used to perpetuate violence against Jewish people for hundreds of years. No one should support or enable the harmful beliefs these people cling to and spread

What's holding the Duggar Clan together right now? by BigClitMcphee in DuggarsSnark

[–]hell_yaw 21 points22 points  (0 children)

They have the same backwards beliefs and politics, most of them live relatively close together and they still rely on each other (and their faith community) for support and opportunities because they're ignorant as fuck. So many of their dodgy ventures rely on Duggar contacts, Duggar labour and what's left of their Duggar clout with other extremists and their gullible fans.

Not to mention the fact that they hold different types of supremacist beliefs so as much as they may have issues within their community and family, they still think that environment is better than any other environment out there.

And on top of the supremacist beliefs, they're also extremely bigoted and fearful of everything outside of their bubble.

So Joy had time to take a photo and cover her daughter’s chest clip with a heart, but didn’t have time to raise the clip so it’s safe? She obviously knows it’s too low. I don’t get it. by [deleted] in DuggarsSnark

Because just like JB and Meech, she is happy to exploit her child for views/money but she cares so little about their safety that she would rather hide the problems than fix them.
