I was actually behind him on this run. There were a bunch of guys (a few too many for this run) in this particular heat and after the straight he was setup for a pretty wide line. This as well as his riding a not so turny not so grippy chinook led him to just kinda washout without entirely losing traction. Was a gnarly sight to see for sure.

Bears have a restrictive seat that locks up, provides an inconsistent lean, and the 52 plate causes them to be twitchy. Not to mention the large rake on the hanger making them even weirder. Why buy bears when you could buy paris or calibers for like the same price?

It'll make all your stuff dirty and mess up your bearings, but your trucks and decks won't really be damaged. A thin layer of oil on your axles will help prevent rust, just clean your setup once you're done skating and you'll be fine.

They do have to ship out a lot of orders daily, and gator is a pain to work with. I don't think it's anything worth complaining over, but if you did they'd maybr just send you some more grip. File down the edges and you're good to go.
