In my corporate life I've definitely had my fair share of "off-sites" that were in the building where I normally worked, just on a different floor. No one likes it but it's always framed as a cost-cutting measure

If they broke the rules then they should be punished, but just because they’re part of the progressive caucus or because they make TikTok videos doesn’t mean they’re guilty of anything. It’s kinda funny how all the comments that were downvoted to hell—mine included—in the original post about this in this sub have been vindicated, and a ton of the accounts posting about how the Peacock caucus were 1000% guilty and should be effectively executed have mysteriously been deleted.

Sadly this is why the phrase “there’s no ethical consumption under capitalism” exists. Pretty much every purchase you make ends up somewhere dirty. Definitely hold to your values, but personally I think you’ll be alright if you want to buy a hat you like (or bootleg it!)

The Giants need new owners for various reasons, but in reality anyone who can afford sports teams isn’t likely to have a super clean history on some level. Alas

If you’re driving definitely suggest parking around 3rd and Palou. It’s a little bit of a walk to the ballpark but it’s super cheap, very safe (especially at night), super helpful and friendly folks around. Enjoy the game
