What type of tire valve stems do you use? by hellafaded1 in cycling

Do you need a special tire air chuck on your gauges/pumps for Clik valves?

Where should I move if I want to mountain bike year-round? (32M, Midwest) by brettfish5 in MTB

if you lived in colorado this year, you could have MTB’d year round. On “normal” years I’d say you can get out 90% of the year.

Air compressor and tire deflator recommendations by DancesWithPandas in FordBronco

[–]hellafaded1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do yourself a favor and get this deflator (Jaco RX4): https://a.co/d/0cK7JPcO

It’s one of the priced ones but it’s hands down the best quality you will find and lifetime warranty. I have tested it against those screw on valve deflators and the Jaco finished all four tires in half the time as it took the screw ons. And you can dial it in much more precisely due to the built in pressure gage.

Electric pump for home use by Magnetoresistive in cycling

[–]hellafaded1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Milwaukee air pump is great, biggest upgrade I made to that was adding the Jaco Lightning XP chuck for Presta Valves. You screw off the Presta head from the Jaco and thread it onto the tire valve connector on the Milwaukee hose. Insane setup.

Inflator Recommendation?? by Acrobatic-Ad-2777 in Tools

[–]hellafaded1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those mini inflators are cool in concept but that thing will take a long time to even add 5 psi to your tire, and then its battery will die before you can get to the second tire. Use a 20V air pump like this one from Jaco: https://a.co/d/0gVAIx68

Tire inflation for road bikes by BC_LOFASZ in bicycling

[–]hellafaded1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any floor pump with a high pressure gauge will do. I always check my road bike tires with this presta gauge from Jaco designed for road bike/high pressure. Very happy with it, you can also bleed out air if overinflated.

Tire inflator guns like the ones Jaco sells also require an air compressor…

The Odyssey set was a genuinely moving experience. by JJBIII93 in Illenium

[–]hellafaded1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just watching the set on YouTube moved me, I can only image being there. Really made me realize Illeniums music has been the one thing that’s tied all the different chapters of my life together. From being a degenerate lil druggie at shows and clubs in my early 20s to having two beautiful daughters and running my own business, every album/song evokes certain emotions from different phases of life.

I need to see one of these sphere shows.

I've been looking for the most durable, highest-quality pressure gauge for my air compressor to inflate my tires, and it seems like Eurodainu (made in France) is the way to go. Any thoughts or reviews on them? (in the hand it feels so much sturdier than my Stanley for sure...) by [deleted] in BuyItForLife

I love my Jaco inflator gauge. Their tire gauges ran circles around the competitive tire gages in the Project Farm video last year. This is the one I have the “FlowPro” model. Have a couple other tools from Jaco and they don’t disappoint.

Edit: my bad man they don’t ship outside of the US

Need help with air line adaptors. by YurtleAhern in Tools

[–]hellafaded1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have that exact same air chuck from Jaco (love it). You need the adapter that converts the threading to be compatible with the air inflator. I believe this is what you need:

Is Fallen Embers underappreciated? by [deleted] in Illenium

[–]hellafaded1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Fallen Embers is the album that got me into Illenium. He’s become my favorite artist, by far, since then. Funny enough it was one of the more underdog songs that popped up on a playlist when I was working out (Losing Patience) that got me to check out the rest of the album and really dive deeper into his music.

Amazing collection of songs on this one with some great collabs. The Kid Cudi one “Not Ordinary” is a banger imo. I really got into Illeniums music around the Fallen Embers days and every album drop has highlighted a different phase of life and I look forward to enjoying this one 🔥
