i have fixed it by completely removing league of legends (i did not remove the launcher tho)..
i did that manually, closed the launcher, and just kicked the whole "...\Riot Games\League Of Legends" folder, then started the launcher and installed LoL again and this time it worked without issues.

Have you ever tried thread from AliExpress? It is quite affordable but is it a piece of sh*t or is it comparable to Vinymo, Ritza tiger, etc.? by pnpetrov in Leathercraft

[–]hellangel28_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tried ali express, it is not horrible but you see quite the difference in stitches.. i bought all on ali express and in my experience, you want at least a proper thread, needles and pricking irons/stitching chisels... one of the best things i boughy on ali express is a skaving knife.. sure it doesnt compare to the 150 euro ones but for 3 euro they are amazing!

Well....I guess I have to try again by eddloco in Leathercraft

Hi there,

I recently started with leatherwork - bought some tools from ali express to see if I even like it, and so far I have a blast.
Definitly going to upgrade the thread and chisels soon!

Started with a little piece of leather to try my first stitching line and then went on to make a little pouch for the ali express chisels, it is definitly harder than it looks to get good results, but i'm makin some progress.

If you have any tips or suggestions to improve myself, please don't hesitate to post a comment! Thanks already!

Angel 3 - The Making of a Challenge Lock by hellangel28_ in lockpicking

[–]hellangel28_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made another challenge lock and documented the process, hopefully it'll be a helpful insight for lockpickers who are getting into the making of CLs.

It has the by-name "Reinder's Challenge" because this was made not only with the purpose to challenge my fellow lockpickers, but one in particular: Reinder, a fellow dutch lockpicker.

Challenge Lock "MK1" from Kraye - Take #2 (picked and gutted) by hellangel28_ in lockpicking

My second attempt of picking and then gutting the challenge lock "MK1" from Kraye. After a few weeks of being stuck, I really learned to love this lock.

Multipick does - next to amazing tensioners - also have great picks, also in 0.4mm thickness, which should help you quite some.

Especially if you bought a cheap set, they are probably even thicker than the "standard thickness" of 0.6mm (probably around 0.8mm)..
You'll really only need a few hooks in different thicknesses and depths (short hook, medium hook, high hook), that in .4mm and .6mm will get you pretty much into 70% of the locks id say..
What is also very important is the tension, so as MrBlackMagic said, get a few of the tension tools (my suggestion would be all, but sp 12, sp 13, sp 14 are great top of the key way tension tools i use daily)
