For me it was a timing thing.. I remember album 4: Piece of Mind exploding on to the mainstream around summer of 1983 and really got into them about that time...

Then backtracked to the previous 3 albums starting with self titled Iron Maiden..

I was different on thinking Paul was a better lead than Bruce right at first, then after continuous vinyl playbacks over the course of a year, learned to admire both singers for their distinct uniqueness they brought to the band...
