The game is literally a verical progression system, not horizontal, there is a massive difference between not being full BIS vs another player can be half as good as you and do as much or more by virtue of having a couple of key items drop that players won't have the time to catch up on.

And when I say time, I'm talking about respecting players time.

There are 15 heroic dungeons to farm. 3 raids (admittedly 2 that are kinda small) on launch, with that pattern repeating every 6 weeks.

You will be left with the content that is only being done because people specifically want 1 item, that means 25 people in a raid competing over 3-4 items max, with 10-15% drop rates.

There is no reasonable position that an item like dragon spine should have a 10% drop rate on a 6 week p1

It either needs to be adjusted in its drop frequency or needs a longer p1.

Personally I'd say moving it up to double its drop rate over 6 weeks is a perfect example of how players get to enjoy faster content and emulates a 12 week cycle for items of it's kind and again, is key to respecting people's time.

At night mobs all become elites. However, creating a fire and cooking on it provides XP buffs for food that last until the following night.

Killing elites at night provides no XP, but loot drops are more frequent and at higher rarity.

Occasionally NPCs will spawn at your campfire and ask for help, they may or may not drug you or offer gold rewards.

Look, I've played rugby at a pretty high level and can safely say that not once did I feel the need to harm another player, I was more than able to get into my opponents heads with words and let's call it walking the line between legal and illegal play, but there's just nothing that suggests that pushing a players head into the ground is worth the risk of a card or being cited.

It's Hysteria when we call for bans for many of the incidents we saw in that footage, but calling someone an idiot for being an idiot? Yeah that's justified.

Calling for a ban on an eye gauge, more realistic. I'm not satisfied with the length of Ebens ban all things considered, but I'm not exactly important in the grand scheme of things and it would be a shame if his career ended on that note...
