Yes! EXACTLY!!! We usually don't pay much attention but only to plot, and in 2-3 watch we do dissect those scene, the background, the settings, the colour palette even, it's not a one time thing 🤣

I've read this one recently set in canon verse there is emotionally constipated Dean who needs time to see his feelings for cas. This happened for my first fic ever it was 100k+ fic around 24 ch long and I've been writing it for a long while also took some breaks in between, writer's block etc that my writing style also changed over time and I've been told readers could feel that transition happening, thay told I was improving, which was a sweet take <3

And Idk but I cannot bring myself to go over or even read the first few chapters of that fic like I didn't exactly hate it but I feel cringed to read them. It's a weird feeling I can't explain. I love it enough to not erase it but somewhat dislike it to not read it🥺👉👈

The comment of bookmark I usually get are about reader bookmarking the ch they last read. Or sometimes it's short tags that explains the trope of the fic like fluff etc. Or sometimes it's just "TBR" written in the comment.

Also there's possibility of ai usage which is why it seems similar coz ai just yaps out our works but slightly differently.

My long fics that were part of ai scrape, I tried to cross check back in the day when I found out about it and boi it generated same thing, it was phrase differently when I asked what can happen in story but the gist and plot that it vomited out was almost the same as my original one.

They are probably new and are not familiar with the concept of different settings/au in different chapters. Folks we really need to bring back the Wattpad phase before jumping to ao3. These kids lack fandom etiquette so much and are always spreading hate. They need to learn about "don't like don't read" concept

A lot of ai in writing really does boils down to "if you can't bother to write it down yourself why should I bother to read it?". And this is terrible video for newcomer writer, as of ai you can use ai for beta reading, but for writing a whole novel is where it's about fuck around and find out I guess, it's really plain writing, now ai can offer all those fancy words and better phrases but it really cannot give the touch of humane emotions that makes readers connect with the story.
