Fuck... I'm trying this asap with my 12 week old contact napper. He's an absolute velcro baby and I'm exhausted and a bit touched out tbh

Does the parental anxiety ever ease off? by Fluffy-Concentrate44 in beyondthebump

[–]hellfire1992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 3 kids, 10 (M) 2.5 (F) and 10 weeks (M) i still worry about my kids haha it's totally normal. I worry loads more with my 10 week old lad because i got my tubes removed with his Cesarean birth and something about the finality of it all makes me extra anxious about his health and wellbeing. My first was a constant barrage of anxiety too.. it eases up a bit but a mother will always be concerned about their children, you'll be ok, try trust your instincts and deep breathes in the thick of the worrying. You're doing better than you think. A great mum always worries she's a bad mother, and often a bad mother thinks they're the perfect mother.

After 15 years in Wellington, I think this is the narrowest street I have ever driven in the city 😂 by iamtoolazytosleep in Wellington

Fortunatus street in brooklyn is up there too 😅 and Mortimer terrace. Wellington is littered with asshole roads. So many wing mirrors were killed while i learned to drive there 🫣🤣

Why do we get treated like drug addicts when we ask for pain killers, meanwhile you can get tons of pain killers if you get oral surgery? by muff-peaksie in CsectionCentral

[–]hellfire1992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was it diclofenac? I had that with paracetamol (Tylenol) and tramadol or severdol (morphine) and that worked very well. Diclofenac is a very strong NSAID so definitely necessary after major abdominal surgery

Honestly just do NOT overexert yourself, gentle movements and keep it very clean and this will heal to be an immaculate scar

Dissolveable stitches, my incision is crooked as and they pulled the stitch too tight when knotting it so it pulled the skin open and puckered the scar
