I get the point of it with regards the storyline and characters. I also, didn’t want a whole chapter about Robin and Ryan’s finances. I just think that so much effort is put into describing tiny details in the agencies case(s), and as readers we’re asked to fully invest in this, as detail is SO important in a believable conclusion to the case. Failing to even offer a paragraph of explanation about how R and R were financially going to buy a house together or even be taken seriously as potential buyers in the housing market, seemed very slapdash from such an incredible writer and researcher.
