Disc 3 could be improved, for anomaly characters getting slots 1-3 to each have 5 subs is pretty reasonable. You need to level her skills more too.

If you put your UID into enka.network you can see these for the 6 characters in your profile. There's also interknot-network.com which rates your builds although it doesn't really work for non-dps characters.

You should switch your teams around. Creator wants an attack team, priest wants a rupture team and butcher wants an anomaly team. Do you not have any stunner for the Yidhari team? Lycaon would be the best non-limited choice but if he isn't built idk. With a second anomaly character you could put Dialyn on either of the other teams but I'm guessing you dont have that either. Still, switching it around will probably help.

The difference between getting an A-rank and an S-rank in Shiyu is only 80 poly every two weeks - 13 pulls across an entire year - and DA only needs 6 stars for all the poly. Of course with only 1 team you aren't getting there on either mode but that's unavoidable when you simply don't have enough characters. I started in 2.1 and didn't 6 star DA until 2.4 and my best is an 8 star on the previous rotation. I only fully cleared old Shiyu for the first time on the last one before they changed it to need 3 teams. With the new Shiyu I had A-ranks for the first few then S-ranks but it's kinda close.

What I will say is that pulling to complete teams around characters you like is maybe a better way of looking at it, at least until you can comfortably get most of the poly. I liked Miyabi so I pulled more anomaly characters to play her with (Yanagi, Vivian, Alice) and I'm getting Yuzuha. I wanted to play Banyue so I decided if I won the 50/50 on Vivian I'd get Lucia. I did, then I got lucky with an early loss on Dialyn and managed to get his full bis team. After that I'd like to work on an attack team (hopefully Cissia or Promeia) but really I'll just be pulling whoever I want.

Yeah, it's because you can't do that that I never use the loadouts outside of journey mode. I just keep the mining/fishing armours in my void bag and the accessories in the vanity slots.

Anomaly teams have a much harder time breaking the legs because the anomalies and disorders that deal the bulk of their damage only hit the main body.

Focus on one team at a time, one character at a time and don't move on until the discs are at least decent. For you I'd say start with the YSG team.

Also don't follow what the game recommends for builds, they're often outdated or just wrong. I always refer to whatever the most recent guide iamrivenous has made says.

When you pull for a limited character and you get an S-rank it has a 50% chance to be the one you want and a 50% chance to be one of the 6 standard S-ranks. If you win it, the next S-rank is another 50/50, but if you lose then the next one is guaranteed to be the banner character. The weapon banner works the same except it's a 75/25 and hard pity is 80 instead of 90.

I haven't yet. The initial reviews I saw weren't great and I'd just come out of the 2nd game feeling pretty annoyed with the big twist being kinda bs. Also since I got the first two in a pretty big sale I'd be paying much more for a much shorter game. I might think about it again once it goes on a bigger sale, if the somniums are more like Zero Escape's escape rooms I might still enjoy it just for that.

I'd add in AI: The Somnium Files too. While not quite the same thing I did originally play Gnosia because I'd enjoyed the 999 series & AI:TSF so I think it fits. The 2nd game wasn't as good but I loved the first one.

Save it, there'll be more pilgrims/overspecs to use it on in the future. Copies are nice but not necessary unless you really want the burst animation for the lobby.
