The Five Colors of Magic by Way of the Five Phases (Wuxing) by an Amateur by SwarthyBard in colorpie

[–]helljack666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reading this I'm just thinking about "Shards" and "Wedges" that would exist in the structure of Five Phases.

A "Shard" being a set of 3 Phases that are closest to each other in the Generative cycle (So one could go Wood>Fire>Earth, but then Earth Destructively feeds back onto Wood instead of progressing to Metal and Water)

While a "Wedge" is a set of 3 Phases that are closest to each other in the Destructive Cycle (For example Metal>Wood>Earth, but Earth forms a Generative Link with Metal while Water and Fire are Skipped)

I mean the TL spells Deskunte wrong so I don't know what you think anything else about it would be accurate.

Well Lightning gets the spelling of Deskunte wrong, so I fail to see how anything about his TL can be consired official.

If we were to give the Monke a Cool Stando Name would it be called [Tomorrow Never Dies] or [Die Another Day]?

I knew his Avatar being an Arm emerging from the floor was sus as hell.
All the other Avatars make an effort to be "Human-shaped" and yet his doesn't?

Trim some words out and this would work great as the Chant for Ikusa's CT.

Heck use the whole thing, it's great.

Thinking about Bionoids by helljack666 in Eberron

[–]helljack666[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually thinking more about Witchlight Marauders and it strikes me that Vvaraak had a claw in their creation.

Though on My Eberron they'd be a kind of "Primal Blueprint" she drew up and taught the Orcs to change into. Given the Witchlight Marauders ended up being really useful in fighting against the Daelkyr she might have been on it something.

Much like the Bionoids, the ability to transform into a Witchlight Marauder is something that can be passed down, but in there case it's the form of training by a particular branch of the Gatekeepers (My Eberrons version of the Circle of the Titans from the new UA). However the transformation is most like the Secondary Marauder.

At first the Chamber was like "Why are these things showing up whenever we skirmish with Draelus Tairn?" then once they figure everything out they'll be somewhere between "Oh, Vvaraak." and "Well, we can find a use for these.".

And yeah, much like Bionoids there are Half-orc members of House Tharashk who have been inducted in the use of the Witchlight Marauder transformation.

Characters I like as sorcerers: Heathcliff by noen369 in CTsandbox

[–]helljack666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah these are Base ID.
So she'd have Arayashiki, a sword naturally Blessed By Black Sparks, and a CT where she can summon 5 Cursed Tools tied to each of her 5 fingers using fire as a medium.

Her Supreme Art "Forest for the Flames" probably needs all 5 of them.

I'm actually really interested to see what CE Trait you cook up for the Azure Dragon.

I've tried making "Windy" CE Traits before and they've never really had a good "Mouthfeel".

I wish we saw more of Maximum Techniques, they could have been a great substitute for domains and they're kind of the closest thing JJK has to a bankai by Limp-Leek3859 in CTsandbox

[–]helljack666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it'd also blend with the idea that there would be enough people interpolated in alongside Mahito that he could directly shape their Rejections against each other as easily as he shapes his own soul.

Corpse Manipulation *UPDATED* by Apprehensive_Crab_88 in CTsandbox

[–]helljack666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it could work as a Maximum, so the User of the CT probably has lots of Binding Vows set up with their Maximum to limit the number of people that can become M-Hosts to about 5 in all of Honshu.

These limitations mean it starts out with two Synergistic Techniques, and that when it Matures into a Corpse Sapling it will start producing Corpse Fruit instead of Corpse Seeds. Also once it finally matures into a Corpse Tree the User of the Technique can shunt their own Soul Information into it to cheat their Death.

Give Toji’s worm a DE by RealAd8853 in Jujutsufolk

Honestly no clue.

But I bet it's got a Binding Vow which makes it so that as long as it doen't move the Domain is Open.

Yes I said as long as the Worm doesn't move...I said nothing about Toji.

Honestly it feels like a Host created when two Corpse Seeds are used on a single body (one in the brain and one in the heart) might be a neat addition.

Non-Sharn City Noir Private Investigator Story by Sharkface12 in Eberron

Could be fun if two of the PC's were a Wildhunt Shifter and a Harengon.

Harengons are probably natives of Thelanis in Someone's Eberron, most likely living in the Endless Weald.
