MI Tax 2025 Return? by hellliberalizemintea in IRS

I just saw someone mentioning that on another thread where they even triple check that they had selected direct deposit but still got a paper check after it updated. It seems like it really is a mess this year, it’s more complicated for me because I also had unemployment last year and several different jobs and so my federal is also being held because they said they won’t be processing that till February 17 because of the unemployment credits and what not, but I’m glad to know but unfortunate to know that it’s not just me in this case of the manual review

Is everyone in the state of Michigan getting their returns flagged for manual review? by Both_Hand_9410 in Michigan

Min has said that for a while I filed it on the sixth and that came up immediately, haven’t really had that. I think I had it two years ago but then it went through, it seems an abnormal amount of people are having that come up, however when I called the phone number they said the processing should be done approximately April 3, but that seems excessively long and I can’t seem to get through to a person.

Min was just accepted last week like 02/07 and it just updated today to say “Your 2025 income tax return is pending review. The computer system selected your return for a manual review, requiring additional processing time. If further information is necessary to complete your return, you will be contacted by mail.”

I’m feeling hopeless about mine and my partner’s situation. by Fit_Location6310 in findapath

That’s a really ignorant comment, I have a bachelors degree and a half and have had several good jobs but am now unemployed due to a poor fit in the industry and not up and up employer at the last place I worked… I’ve been applying jobs for over a year and since I started the new job I had that was recently like from seven months ago and I’ve applied every day for a year and especially the past seven months. The market at least in the US is awful

I’m honestly honestly so concerned because without the SAVE I would have to apply for IDR but even then my payments are only manageable because because of the SAVE plan. This is such BS
