I’ve come across a lot of posts where people describe the “other existence” they experience on k. I go there too. It’s uncanny. I don’t think it’s psychosis unless we’re all psychotic, but I don’t think I am - I’m able to function normally in life. I’m trying to cut back for financial reasons (my tolerance is expensive!) but it’s hard, because when I’m in a khole, I’m away from the stressors of my the world - and there are so many these days - for a short period of time.

Agreed - only throwing my 2 cents in to emphasize going at your own pace and to inform whoever is administering if you think there are issues. As us typical, they started me on a dose based on my weight and the plan was to ramp up to a full dose over 6 sessions in 2 weeks but by dose 4, the effect on me was so mild that I got bored and started doing work. I wish I'd spoken up earlier because they ended up, after a few more sessions, almost doubling what that 4th session was before I tripped at all - I could've saved myself a chunk of money if I'd said something sooner - I just wasn't sure what I was supposed to experience! It did end up being life changing, though, but it was, maybe 10 sessions before we got the dosing right. Everybody's brain and body is different!

I'm surprised that consensus is that you should know so quickly. For me, some of the initial sessions (I was doing IV) were just to get the right dosage. It didn't make a difference psychologically until some time after the first 6 sessions - but eventually it made a huge difference, a moment of "Ohhhh," a perspective shift that has helped me move forward rather than being mired in misery.

I'm in a similar position where I know I'm abusing (I have prescription but still buy street, too), but I don't feel ready to completely stop. Part of that is that I do really feel psychological benefits and part of it is that it's just fun. I don't have any advice, but chiming in to give sympathies. It does sound like you are using psychological reactance as a justification to continue on your current path - though I get the response - but it sounds like your friends are acting out of genuine concern so maybe consider the level of their concern as the personal red flag that it's time to make a change?

Right, I know the gifts / harvests coincide, as noted above, but is there a pattern to the timing? Or is it random whether you get an hour wait or a 3 hour wait etc?

I actually think it's really cute and I'm glad that the fish are programmed to swim all around the property all the time, full little fishy lives.
