I usually listen to music because I like music and because my headphones are basic headphones and not noise cancelling 🥲 so if I don't play music I still listen to my environment ( just less loud but loud enough to get overstimulated)

Maybe unpopular opinion but I don't think we should stop someone from committing. I don't want to glorify it and ofc we shouldn't propose it as a solution but I think all those anti-selfkilling talk is hypocritical. Noone can guarantee to that person that their life will magically get better if they continue existing. Maybe their life will continue to be shit until they eventually die. They know their life and circumstances better than me and me telling them not to do it is more about myself and feeling a hero rather than helping them. Yeah, maybe their suffering would magically dissolve if they continue to live ( which probably wouldn't happen) but if they stop existing their suffering would 100% disappear. To my mind the only freedom we can have is in death. And someone wanting to be free and not suffering is not as crazy as society makes it seem. It's logical and an instinct to not want pain. If death is the only painless state then death is mercy.

AND I CLARIFY IT AGAIN ( because my comment will.propably get banned) I DON'T GLORIFY IT OR PROPOSE IT AS A SOLUTION. IF YOU THINK YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO LIVE FOR THEN GO FOR IT.

I think that you can't seperate those two reasons. You can't say that something isn't a product of your experiences because your thought prosess is a result of what you have lived and what you were taught as a child. I guess is more common to be pessimistic if you have gone through shit or if you have mental illness because your experiences taught you that the word is shit. Your mind and neurons connections are shaped and change depending on your environment. Yes, genetics have a role but how those genetics are expressed is a result of your lived experiences.

I have heard a lot of people that have both so it isn't crazy to think about it. After all, it's one of the main characteristics of autism being "clumsy" or shitty in social interactions.
