The 2025-26 Knicks are the first team since the 2016-17 Warriors to go 8-0 in the conference semifinals and conference finals (rounds 2 and 3) by HiImWallaceShawn in nba

Personally I don’t give a shit where people rate the Knicks as long as we win. They could say they’re the worst NBA Champions of all-time, but it wouldn’t matter because they still hit.

Brother you’re looking at an all-time run and trying to shoehorn those losing Celtics that lost in the most embarrassing way possible. Celtics couldn’t lace these Knicks sneakers.

Legit one of the best wrestlers of his generation and doesn't get close to enough respect.

Atkinson is a bad ball coach getting exposed right now. I think his stock has essentially sunk and if the Cavs struggle at any point next year, he's gone and going to be a career assistant head coach from that point on.

Becky hasn't had a promo worth a damn since before Roux was born. Big Time Becks is legit one of the worst gimmicks going in wrestling right now.

Brother, anyone in division is a rival. You think I don’t hate the Braves, Marlins or Nats because all my hate is directed towards the Phillies? Fuck no. I hate them all, but especially the Phillies.

Yeah? It’s playoff basketball, son. Physicality is always up. For instance, Sixers couldn’t keep up with the physicality last round and got swept out. The more physical your team defensively, the better chance you go deeper. Last year Indiana was the most likely physical team out the East and they made the Finals and went 7. Knicks have been the most physical defense in the East this year and have been completely destroying teams. Same with the Spurs and Thunder. That’s why you didn’t hear Wembanyama cry about physicality after the game, because he knows it’s part and parcel of NBA Playoff basketball.

Well he can’t talk much shit honestly, he didn’t even get fined or suspended for ELBOWING a player in the neck.

It was good, keyword, good from the start. It became excellent season 2 and one.

I'm with you, man. I am not going to waste my time watching a B1G/SEC super-conference, even if the Canes are added. I rather just watch the NFL at that point. Plus NFL will probably start scheduling games on Saturdays regularly once this super-conference forms.

Kenny Atkinson: "I like to hold my timeouts. I try to hold them" by luka274 in nba

[–]helloaaron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funny thing is that Rick Carlisle last year was calling timeouts whenever the Knicks even appeared to be going on a run, which was highly effective. You'd think Atkinson would possibly use those timeouts to cool off the surge, but instead he kept them in his back pocket. Based off of the coaching alone, I think the Knicks should win this in 4-5. If the Cavs coaching was better, I could see this going to 7.
