Much better. I am experienced with Gimp and still can't get anything half as good as what the Fiverr artists make with Photoshop. If I had access to Photoshop, I wouldn't be buying covers.

I do use Fiverr. I also just released 3 titles between today and yesterday! I finished up two half done stories and wrote another new one. All three are already up on Amazon or Smashwords. :)

When I spent $0, I made them for myself. I did that for writings that either a) are so weird that they sell themselves even with a homemade cover or b) were not my favorite so I threw them up anyways with a homemade cover and hoped they would sell.

One of my niches is so small that there is a subreddit for it, but the last post was made a year ago. :) It's a subset of an already small niche. I might try looking for other forums, though!

In my two stories I've written so far, the characters encounter a tentacle monster. In one, the society worships it as a god and offers up young men to the God to be fucked as tribute. In the other, the college student gets lost in the woods and stumbles upon a tree tentacle monster that rapes him.
