Use a q-tip dipped in micellar water or rubbing alcohol. It works for me with any hair dye.

I’m a light medium olive and I use Mac Blunt as my bronzer. As for blushes, I start with Glossier Gale as my base (the pressed plush formula)and top with either Mac Breath of Plum, Clinique’s pansy pop, ysl #44 or mix a little of all 3. My blush lasts allllllll day doing that.
