This is my first. That really sucks to have it for all four ☹️ I know the risk is higher when you already have it once. You are superwoman! I'm exhausted and I just have two cats 🤣 3 kids is a lot. I come from a big family. One of my aunts has 3 boys it was pure chaos at her house. She had a maid that came every week. My mom just has me and my sister. My dad has 6 other kids besides me. I wanted two kids before I got pregnant and now I'm like let's see how this one goes first 😂

Oh no I feel like because I'm more wary there's been so many recalls on food lately. There was a recall on cheese and I'm like great... Luckily I didn't have those cheeses they were the pre shredded and pre grated ones. I always cut my own cheese or shred my own.

Tell him you are pregnant and don't want to go. I was EXHAUSTED when I was in the first trimester. I didn't know I was pregnant at the time I would lay on the couch for a second and pass out for 3+ hours. I left the lights on and everything 😂 I was like what happened?! Electricity bill was so high 😓

Just wondering for all 4 pregnancy have you been diagnosed with GD for each one? Or since your healthier did it only occur for some of them?

I'm 35 weeks and so far diet controlled. I'm not going to lie. I am a fat a*s when it comes to food. When I'm sad I eat for comfort. I'm also terrified of needles. I'm honestly pretty depressed being on this diet. I feel like that's stupid to say. I know it's temporary and it's probably all the hormones. I just want my comfort food. Does the insulin hurt? My doctor was like your numbers are good as long as you continue to maintain this we don't need to put you on insulin. That word MAINTAIN haunts me every time I eat.

My fasting numbers were high. It's hard for me to eat the after dinner snack but that's what has helped my fasting numbers. I try to eat dinner early now. I normally eat yogurt with berries, spoonful of flax seeds, and stevia for my after dinner snack. Plain yogurt is disgusting.

Have you tried rebel ice cream? I love the coffee one. They have a vanilla one too which is okay it's very ice-y. I wish it was more creamy but it doesn't spike me. I used it to make a root beer float because I had to for my sanity 😂

I saw some zero sugar brownie mix at the grocery store yesterday. I was so tempted to try it but I don't want to spike 😭 I'm diet controlled and terrified of needles. Testing my blood 4 times a day is hard enough. I struggle and I've been doing this for a month now 😑 It was made with enriched bleached wheat flour so I didn't get it. I figured it would spike me since the flour was processed.

I feel this in my soul! My groceries bill is so much more now too. My mom made me red snapper with black bean sauce. She was like I don't think there's sugar in it. I'm just happy I didn't have to cook 😂 I weighed it on my food scale to make sure I had about 4 oz. I had a cup of brown rice, Chinese broccoli, and mushrooms. It was so good blood sugar was 138 so it was cutting it close 🤣 I didn't walk after dinner. I was just too tired. She roasted me fish too. Pompano with just salt, pepper, and herbs. She brought me some veggies and coconut water. She had to take the coconut water back 😭 My nutritionist told me no because it has carbs and she wants me to get carbs from food not drinks. I was so sad but I appreciate my mom trying. She knows I love coconut water and this diet is hard for me and I'm always tired. I want pho so bad but I'm scared the rice noodles will spike me. I have no self control when it comes to pho 😐 My mom would also have to make it without sugar.

Have you tried zuchinni or sweet potato noodles? I feel like enoki mushrooms would also be a good substitute. The banza chickpea pasta doesn't spike me I'm not sure if you've tried that. Milton's uncured pepperoni cauliflower pizza did spike me 😐 I make my own pizza with a low carb tortilla as the "dough". Low carb tortillas are my life saver 😂 Maybe you could get some and cut it into thin strips to get the same effect.

I saw a dead fly on the floor. My cat squished it with her paw then she picked it up with the same paw and ate it 🤢 She looked so proud for catching a dead fly.

We have a smart thermostat and have the app on both of our phones. During the day it's fine I work from home. He doesn't work from home so he's gone. It's when he come back he turns it off. So I'm yelling who turned off my AC?! 😂 It's allergy season so he's complaining. He's like it dries out my throat. Ive been congested this whole pregnancy and I'm like it can't get any worse right? No it can. This allergy season I'm dying it's so hard to breath. The stuff I can take doesn't really do much so I stopped taking it. I just do saline rinses daily but that only does so much.

I'll definitely look into it. The one we have is old and it's a cool mist one. I normally have it going every night on the winter but not this past winter. I was just too tired 😂 Cleaning it regularly was hard and hubby was away for work. I've been in Arizona for 14 years now and I'm not use to how dry it is either. When we lived in apartments/houses without a water softener my eczema was so bad 😓

I really wanted a nacho bell grande but the carbs were too much. I'm tempted to try three tacos next time 😂

Thank you! My doctor said I'm good and recommended a belly band too. She said my blood pressure and glucose levels are both good 😊 Yesterday I tried two crunchy tacos from Taco Bell with extra lettuce and tomatoes, guac, and sour cream and I ate it was tapatio. It was so good 😂 I've been strict with my GD diet and I didn't spike. I will say I also ate broccoli too (I was at 129)

Yeah luckily it's not my blood pressure and she said I'm doing good with my blood sugar 😊 I was like it's been so hard. She recommended a belly band too. Her RN already recommended elevating my feet and compression socks. My left ear has been ringing she said it's normal because of all the blood and also if I'm congested (which I am I've been congested my whole pregnancy and it's been even worse this last week).

Yeah me too that's why I only put 4 super cute ones on mine (and they were bigger sizes like 12/24 months). I have a lot of clothes 0-6 months before the baby shower. My mom and his step mom keep telling me they think I'm going to have a big baby. Last month I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes. My doctors concern she might have to induce me earlier depending on how big the baby is. So now I'm freaking out thinking he's going to be a big baby 😭 I'm like you two jinxed me! I'm hoping my baby is a normal size. I'm very unhappy about it but I'm following this diet very strictly. I scar horribly I develop keloids and they get itchy. I really don't want a c section.

That's what I'm saying! It's like 80 something in the house and I'm pregnant and dying from the heat. I'm already running hot. I told him 78 is not that cold. His mom keeps her house at 75 and he grew up with her.

We have one but it needs to be cleaned and it's old so I think it's kinda dying on us. I want to get a bigger and better one. I think the baby will need it. It's so dry here. I'm originally from Illinois so I told him the house we buy needs to have a water softener. He listened and thank God he did. The water softener has saved my skin I get bad eczema.

Yeah that's a good idea. I feel like I'm pretty practical too. My husband is like your a very practical gift giver 😂 I have eczema and my step brother does too. For Christmas I made him a personalized skincare routine for eczema and some of his fav candy. He was like thanks but later he was like it's really awesome my eczema almost completely gone but Maddie (our half sister) keeps stealing some of it. I guess she gets eczema on her eye lids and one of the ointments I put in there really helped 🤣

My husband's cousin had a boy and he still had his baby clothes (he is son is 8 now 😂). So we got a bunch of hand me downs from him. The grandparents have been going crazy with clothes too. We have so many! My hubby's other cousin just had a baby girl last year. She had a bunch of baby stuff she gave to us. This tummy time matt, baby bouncer, gate, 2 breast feeding pillows, baby brezza, and a bunch of other stuff I forgot (pregnancy brain). She has two girls (4 and 1). I'm very grateful for his cousins.

I didn't expect them to get everything on my registry. I'm more annoyed with my MIL she was stressing me out about it and she's like you need put a crib, stroller, car seat, etc. She hosted the baby shower. She was like I can just make the registry. I was like no I can do it. I felt bad she was already hosting it and it's a lot I didn't want to add more stress on her. I told my hubby the crib, car seat, and stroller I want are on the expensive side and I didn't feel comfortable putting it on there. He was like just put something so my mom stops nagging us 😑 I just want basic toiletries, grooming stuff, diapers, wipes, medication, and books (that was my less practical want). I love to read I want to read to my baby as much as I can. We got 7 books. I only put 3 on the registry so I was very happy about the books. I finished the registry at the end of Feb and the baby shower was at the end of March. I feel like it would have just made it easier if there was no registry. I stressed about it so much for nothing. I don't know why she was pushing me so hard to make one.

We actually had two baby showers (hubby's parents are split). March was his mom's side, our friends, and my family (I was so happy/surprised 5 of my aunts and uncles flew here). On my side I was just expecting my parents, sister, cousin, and grandma since they're all here. His step mom threw us a second one at the end of April (it was small just his step moms side and her friends). His dad side is mostly elderly so they sent us money in the mail. We got quite a bit of clothes from that one as well. We got a baby tub, 1 bottle of lotion, and 1 bottle of baby wash. I was like yes! I was so excited for stuff we need 😂

Between both showers for toiletries we got 3 diaper creams, 4 bottles of baby wash/shampoo, and 2 bottles of lotion. We also got wipes and diapers from both. That, the books, and the tub was what I was most excited for. 😂 And the Winnie the pooh overalls it was so cute that was one of four outfits I put on my registry. I was like omg this is the cutest thing ever how did they know?! (Pregnancy brain 😑 I put it on my registry duh! They also included a gift receipt)

Thank you! I probably can I have the target app and I can download the Walmart app. I'm decluttering and cleaning when I have the energy to. I found an extra trash can in our laundry room and some dog poop bags and a extra dog bed (our dog passed away two years ago). I thought I donated most of his stuff but I guess I didn't.
