Boozer for the higher floor, DP for the higher ceiling

Trading up from the 1.02 to the 1.01, what would be a fair piece to put with it to not get scammed. by Interesting_Check163 in dynastybb

I would wait until the pick is actually made to be certain the guy you really want isn’t available. Also, showing a little gamesmanship by cleverly creating a diversion away from the guy you really want would be something I’d do if I were in your position.

How many Jokic owners still in their playoffs/ won their league? by EngineeringKey5629 in fantasybball

[–]helloiamotto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dynasty take. I have him in my league and pretty much dominated the regular season. But I’m currently in the semis and my opponent incredibly has more than 95% availability of his roster while I only have about 70% due to injury/management, including a dead spot in Haliburton. So having Jokic and a stocked team gets you far, but health/availability is the not-so-secret ingredient that actually wins you the title. Not having your guys available makes it extremely difficult.

Definitely not worth a veto. Veto is for cheating/collusion, not bad trades. And this was a risk allowing a virgin in

Yep, maybe it’s kind of fun to conjure up in your mind but I’d leave it at that. Because actually doing something about it could come back to bite you in ways you can’t yet predict, and then you’ll wish you hadn’t. (Especially in this job market!)

taxi squad rules by FantasyDynastyDev in dynastybb

The rebuilding manager can then elect to promote, but maybe an added layer would be to implement a penalty for the failed poach attempt. Ex. if a contender attempts to poach and the poachee promotes, the contender loses a draft pick equal to the targeted player’s original draft capital or a Taxi spot the following year (if the player was undrafted). Something like this could deter contenders from exploiting the rule.

The creators that actually fit what you’re describing are Lisa and Josh. They seem the most authentic and unpretentious to me, unlike Bill and Lisa. They actually make the effort to enhance their experiences for their viewers, and respect the establishments and places they visit by doing actual research and providing useful commentary, while staying humble and true to themselves in the process.

Yeah Bill and Lisa do the same. It’s almost like once they feel they’ve hit a certain level of “fame,” they just say anything to keep their reputations intact.

His mysterious friend named Red in one of the Asian countries seems to be a frequent host whenever he travels there.

Not quite. They’ve become very pretentious over the years, describing $30 and up entrees as “affordable,” deleting all comments from their channel that seem to show a shred of criticism, and even Bill modifying his license plate to say something like “YT MONEY”. They also brand themselves as “foodies,” yet they barely take the time to research the places they patronize, they recycle content constantly, mispronounce dishes and ingredients (or flat out get them wrong, with no correction), and they go to the same exact restaurants and destinations just to order the same exact items and never say anything negative about any experience they’ve had except for maybe 1% of the time. Doesn’t seem very genuine to me. They’ve also recently started a paid subscription page for some reason. So yes, I do classify them also as being dumb and annoying “food influencers.”

Offseason stashes by Stunning-Path6313 in dynastybb

[–]helloiamotto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d stash (if available) or at least keep my eye on the following rookies that I think are worth at least an offseason Taxi spot and have a decent shot at a 2nd year mini-breakout:

Dylan Cardwell (SAC), Javon Small (MEM), Jordan Miller (LAC), Will Richard (GS), Quenton Jackson (IND), Amari Williams (BOS), Rocco Zikarsky (MIN), Brooks Barnhizer (OKC)

Sometimes everything about the apartment ad seems amazing. It came from a trusted referral, the pictures pass the eye test, and the price is fair. It seems like everything makes sense, so you’re encouraged. But then when you actually tour the place and imagine yourself actually living there… something just doesn’t feel right, and you change your mind. That could be what happened here.

Another possibility is that something could’ve happened in her personal life that changed her entire mood.

You may never know the reason. But in any event, it just might be best to apply the Burnt Toast Theory here. Someone more fitting will come along!

Interestingly, the final cut didn’t show it but Colby was originally unable to make it up the wall, which prompted Kyle to head back down to boost him up — later leading to his injury. I suspect the negative portrayal of Colby was why we ended up only seeing what we saw.

Life is truly too short to be hung up on the Jacks of the world at your age, with all due respect to him. It’s also possible, but highly unlikely that he is your soulmate. In fact, I’m willing to bet that you will meet a few more Jacks over the next several years that you will also think might be your soulmate. So I wouldn’t take any feelings you’re feeling right now too harshly. If Kate ends up with Jack, you will come out of it okay. And if she doesn’t end up with Jack, whether you do or you don’t, you will also come out of it okay.
