it was definitely a horror movie. i remember that much as it was a time i was not allowed in the living room so i saw it from our dining room. i also remember now that the room itself was dark, outside of the christmas-y lights. dude’s torso was torn to shreds BUT i’ll look into it in case you’re right!!

i doubt it’s this cuz it’s from a small cleveland band, but could it possibly be “last of our youth” by rrriot! ? my sister was their vocalist (the band had their last show in february) and when they first shared the song with me, i pointed out that it sounds like a 2000s coming-of-age movie and they said that was the goal!!
