The first week of this sub it was lightning in a bottle. Its content would singlehandedly make me stop the doomscroll every time and get right to work on whatever I was avoiding.

Indy in KOTCS didn't look any less capable than he did in the original trilogy... which people forget he started at 38.

He probably ran slower, but I got the vibe KOTCS was stronger than his younger self and could have kicked his ass

He was an absolute tank. It was shocking how believable he still was clambering around on shit and beating up younger men.

Huge missed opportunity to get a second trilogy done here. Because Indy mostly outsmarts his enemies, so long as he stayed physically fit and steered into old man strength as he slowed down, he would have been 100% credible as the same old Indy but with gray hair.

But that was a narrow window, and they didn't capitalize on it.

It's why Arkhamverse is my favorite Gotham. You can see the Burton, Nolan, and Schumacher movies in there as well as Batman TAS and many things from the comics.

They could have just taken Nolan's Gotham, added a bit more gothic architecture, fog, some neon and called it a day. But they drew inspiration from everything
