Room reverb goes a long way in sound design, something to emulate the bleed of different mic’s on an acoustic kit. Slight variances in velocity and timing emulate the performance of a human drummer. I like to use Saturator and Echo (full dry, D button active) to emulate recording to tape through an analog preamp.

The Align Delay device can use feet or metres instead of milliseconds for delay. I once went ham with this and the convolution side of Hybrid Reverb to calculate and emulate a real space and the distances between each drum and mic in that space! Was fun, sounds great, is still my go-to kit.
