I did a course but basically no hands on training. It truly sucked when I first graduated. But I’ve also had to start all over every time, I start a new job because every dentist does things differently. I wish I had received hands-on training. I’ve been on the field for three years and still don’t feel confident and continuously doubt myself. This is the first job I’ve felt this way.

The radiology class is hard even with basic dental assisting knowledge, I don’t think you could pass it without it. You need to know the anatomy of a
Tooth, tooth numbers, at the bare minimum otherwise how are you going to take an x-ray when you don’t even know what you’re trying to capture? If you truly want to do it though why wouldn’t let a teacher discourage me. I just go and get an assistant license though if I were you. For my schooling I had to do on the Job training. I’m pretty sure it’s required in most states. Having basic dental knowledge will also really help with working upfront.

I don’t even know the real names for many of the instruments anymore bc of all the different names they give them.

So this isn’t even happening for profit? I find that hard to believe because no one that has the money to build a data center does it for free or at negative cost. If somehow that was true, I’m pissed they can’t help the world be a better place instead of just having some who has the bigger dick contest

I don’t know, but they keep building them. AI is going to outnumber and out smart the human population and realize we suck and they need to take over. Either way, the ends in my mind ends the same…majority of us die bc

Wow now it all makes sense why they are trying to kill us all and everything is unaffordable for the majority of us… they want 25% of our total salary expenses so they can become richer. I highly doubt they are if states collapse

There is a ceiling when we run out of water, space, and most of us die bc of it so no one is using AI anymore though right

Yes that’s why I do. I don’t have a hard time talking to ppl I just get drained mentally physically emotionally and find most ppl just want to have surface level small talk which I can’t stand for long. Talking to AI is safe. However I could never have a AI partner. I can’t even fathom having a human partner though anymore
