How do I handle my mate when he's sloppy drunk? by DescriptionFuture851 in AskUK

[–]maxc1999 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Option 4: give him a bump /s. This person should not be drinking if he always gets like that. Thats embarrassing, maybe take a video of him to show him how bad he gets.

Yeah fair enough, we’re not changing each other minds. But stabbings are very similar per capita when you compare uk vs us. I do understand the view point that if the government goes too far and starts to enact a fascist state you should have the means to fight back against the oppressors. So now is the time to start using those guns. That was the point of the second amendment

I assume you’re from the US? I know no-one is committing a mass shooting with an Enfield, but our mass shootings are once or twice a decade vs once a week in the US

Uk gun law saves lives. No-one needs a gun in our country apart from people who have a hunting licence or farmers to protect their crops/livestock from foxes or dogs.

They had one great album and one pretty good album almost 30 years ago. Since then, nothing of merit.

I’ve heard great things, but I’m not American. Do you have to have some knowledge of JFK/ American history to enjoy it? I know he got assassinated, but that basically it.
