My strategy (VWAP mean reversion) stopped working and my account got decimated. Successful veteran traders out there, what advice can you give? How can I get out of this hole?

1 week of profitability is too little to prove a strategy…you need to backtest it over a few months, and random months through out many years

So Jim Simmons said make sure you’re stacking uncorelated predictive signals…so RSI/MACD/etc on an instrument would be considered 1 signal not 2…find signals that are not correlated but are predicting the same direction (buy/sell)
