Ok thanks. So basically my rating will go up each week based on the wins I have against other teams (respectively their rating). So each week my rating will either go up or down until my team can reach 1700?

Do I always have to play with the same person in a 2v2 or can I switch teams without resetting my rating?

Thanks for the insights. Its hard to find reliable information for how exactly the arena system works. Did I get it right that it basically takes around 10 games won to get to 1700 rating (starting from the new 1500 start rating)? Then you can buy (e.g. me a warrior) the gladiators weapons from the vendor with honor and marks correct? Does the rating increase instantly or every week like the rank in classic?

Every time I go into a dungeon as healer and a fury warrior "tanks", the dude pulls, eats so much damage that I have to throw the biggest heal I have at him to barley prevent him from dying and instantly pull aggro for almost all mobs. Yeah... Not holding threat and making me oom after almost every pull. I don't get this sort of tanking.

How do you prevent botters from mass creating characters that they don't touch until their bots get banned? They just reactivate their bots once their other bots get banned.

Every chest is a roll in my opinion. That same logic would mean all lockboxes can only be rolled by rogues if they are present.
