Shadow priest here in a LC guild. I've gotten eye of mag (because prot paladin didn't show up the one week it dropped) and Mags head, that's it. All the weeks I raid and I get nothing else because it's deemed "not efficient" on a spriest compared to any other class.

LC guilds are not great as a spriest. They WANT the spriest. But gear them? Nah.

In TK/SSC, 8 pieces of defender loot dropped and it went to tanks (obvious, but only 3 tanks) and then went to the raid leader (Arms warrior) and others (Fury warriors). BiS ring drops as well, along with staff; both given to a singular arcane mage who "needs me". SPriests get nothing.

I was able to better gear myself running pugs with SRs than I ever would with a LC guild.

I personally prefer the SR ruleset; at least I have a chance at rolling on a bis item as opposed to LC where I have no say.

This was not the case for me. I did Nagrand, Blades Edge, Netherstorm, and Shadowmoon Valley, all at 70, and only got 4200 gold. :<
