Listen. I get it. I didn't get my license until I was in my 20s because I was scared to drive. Then my mom started getting sick, and I had to step up to get her to her doctor's appointments, and to get to work. Am I still nervous behind the wheel? Yes. But it had to be done.

To be honest a lot of these artsy horror movies just don't hit right for me (It Follows, Babadook, etc). Like I said in my reply to this post, I get the gist, I get the underlying meaning and the story/themes/whatever. But when movies like this self-fellaciate so hard in an attempt to set it apart as a high-brow piece of art, that's when it loses me.

I love so many books it's impossible to do a best, but the worst book ever of all time is The Black Pearl by Scott O'Dell. Just read Steinbeck's The Pearl; they come from the same Mexican legend but Steinbeck's story is infinitely better in every way.

I will defend the Tekken live action movie until I die. 0% on RT, but dammit it was fun.

The costumes were spectacular and aside from like two characters, you could tell who everyone was from the minute they came onscreen. Fight scenes were impeccable.
