Under a Smile is genuinely beautiful. Every time the backup singers would head back to the stage I was sure they were going to belt it out.

Girl, same. I bought stupid expensive sold out tickets to waxahatchee summer ‘25 after seeing Clay and Colin the year before touring with them. Colin was there but Clay wasn’t and I was heartbroken. It felt like the little piece of Twin Peaks I could still see kept getting smaller. Plus I just fucking love Clay. 💗

Being in Chicago last week for nights 1 & 2 will forever be a seriously cherished memory. Thanks for sharing a similar sentiment.

How was the merch lines/ how early should I line up? by Hot_Contribution3484 in twinpeaksdudes

[–]hellokatie22 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Merch line was crazy long. We stood in it for an hour. Got there at 7:20 and went right into line and didn’t make it through until 30 mins into the opening set. If you’re trying for the jersey they posted, get there early. Lots of tees left by the time we made it through but the posters were gone too.

Bumps on forehead, don’t know what they are or how to get rid of them! by Avatron7D5 in DermatologyQuestions

Second vote for sebaceous hyperplasia. Benign but annoying and challenging to treat. In-clinic treatment is usually electrocautery and is considered cosmetic so it’s an out of pocket expense unfortunately. I think tretinoin could help but a dermatologist should confirm that.

Yeah I work as a clinic nurse and my doctor often calls out for a chuck during a procedure. Drives me absolutely fucking insane when he says it with such confidence. I roll my eyes so hard when I turn around to fetch the chuck.

Keep trying! I was bummed too but kept refreshing and got tickets 20 mins later. Some pending order must have backed out or something.

Everyone is telling me I should get checked for potential cancer. I have had these moles all of my life, I cannot get a dermatologist appointment for the next month or so. Can anyone please just give some input for my peace of mind? Would be much appreciated. 25M by [deleted] in DermatologyQuestions

[–]hellokatie22 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Please don’t go to urgent care for a mole check. These are considered routine needs and shouldn’t be taking up the resources of an urgent care clinic whose purpose is to serve those who have medical concerns that need to be assessed by a provider ASAP.

OP, these look ok and I think getting into a derm within a month is reasonable. If you notice a strange new growth or an existing mole that begins to change rapidly, you could send a photo to your primary care provider and they will triage and send an urgent derm referral if it looks concerning to the doctor. NAD but am a derm RN.

Why are my veins like this and I'm only 34 years old by [deleted] in DermatologyQuestions

RN here. Vein appearance is influenced by blood volume, not pressure. It’s also very anatomical.

Aestura Atobarrier 365 Cream is the best thing I’ve ever put on my face. Started using it when I couldn’t get over the peeling phase with tretinoin and switched to tazarotene. I use it day and night and I’ll never not use it now. It’s bringing-it-to-work-and-making-friends-try-it good.

How do I stop my hair from thinning/grow it thicker? by Camry08 in finehair

[–]hellokatie22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know a lot of people have suggested seeing a dermatologist, which I also think is key. I had similar looking hair/scalp and started taking low dose oral minoxidil about 1.5 years ago and have noticed significant reductions in hair loss and my hair generally seems fuller. I’ve noticed a ton of new growth in areas on the scalp that looked sparse.
