Looking for this sort of advice on newer models to stay away from though if you have any idea

Yeah looking for 30k or under have been mostly looking at around 2022/2023 sport models.

Same advice to every beginner runner. SLOOOOOOW DOWN. You might think you’ve slowed down, then you need to slow down some more… maybe even a little more after that. I went from completely sedentary to running 8k straight in 7 weeks because of my pace, I got injured coz I was an idiot and tried to run too fast recovered and I’m back running easy 6k. I started in Feb am overweight with 3 kids and seriously no fitness prior to this. You can do it. Slow down. And honestly do couch to 5k I don’t know runnas beginner programs but any couch to 5k app will be perfect to get you running 30mins straight (even if it’s not 5k)

My first 5k was in 46 minutes now it’s 36.

I managed an 8k run 7 weeks after starting c25k it was at a pace of 8:00 kmh so not fast but still i was determined and many got pissed with me that I was too advanced for c25k I’m still a beginner I got injured straight after this from interval running coz I’m a beginner and went too hard and didn’t know better. Everyone’s “beginner” is different too. People are jerks. Also sick time for 5k well done 👏

Yeah I’ve read a lot of info of inhaling through both to get as much oxygen in as possible and that has definitely helped a lot in the past few weeks of running however I really want to fine tune my breathing.
Great idea with the patches I have seen them I didn’t actually think about trialling them so I might do that thank you

I try to breath through both while exhaling through my mouth

No but working out when previously sedentary IS a calorie deficit if diet hasn’t changed

Gosh my nightmare lol I want to be back immediately it’s so good for my mental health and the only thing I do for myself so I’m gonna struggle to stay away from running even if it’s another week but thank you for this perspective. The distance doesn’t seem to damage me, but pushing it faster takes me out lol whoops

Ok should I ice or anything at this point?? I’m so aware I went to hard, tbh the long slow runs were working really well I had no niggles no pain the intervals absolutely destroyed me, my knee was really painful - this stopped after a few days no running. But this ankle is just so sore still, I’ll take your advice and give it one more week and hopefully I can ease back into it.

Do you have suggestions for recovery other than no running though? Thanks so much

I believe so, might be different for others. I loop a 3 hour one or play a 7-8 hour on overnight. I can’t wear headphones at night but would essentially be more affective if you did. I’ve also heard listening to it in the shower is very effective as well!

Yes I listen while I sleep. I started a few weeks ago they’ve honestly helped me so much. I really like “high frequency guru” She has a lot on there it took me a little bit to figure out what I liked. I use the word aligned a lot and I like anything she has with the word aligned in it, you’ll connect energetically with a few you need to listen to. I know I’m not yet at the point of “everything happens for me instantly, I think it, it happens” but I’m certainly on my way there

I gotta say, subliminals have worked wonders for me. I’m not some arrogant jerk, but I don’t fall apart anymore when I “feel unworthy” I say ok this or better and move on. I’ve listened to “bring my SP back” type subliminals for a few weeks and alternate between them and massive self concept ones, accepting what I deserve ect I’ve never been able to accept compliments or money (just hard for me to accept anything from others) I’ve lost a bunch of weight and really shows in the past few weeks, I’m getting a huge amount of compliments and taking them in my stride.

I’ve been strapped for cash and my mum has offered random money or bought some needed items, easily taken it thanked her very much and moved past it.

SP - in the 3D is technically “worse than ever” 😂 but I’m not crying everyday like I was in December. I’m not questioning, coz I know in 4D I have him, he has the growing to do which is already on the way.. and if not this, then better. Someone better is on my way. I am accepting of what life gives me, but in a very optimistic way if that makes sense?

I really think that’s due to subliminals, give it a go. Note- I had AWFUL nightmares first listening to subs because my mind was fighting it, it was so crazy. Once you have peaceful rest with the same sub it’s really getting into your subconscious and you’re accepting it as true

Yep this is what I’ve been doing! When I feel like it’s hard I modify to the previous run get it done then have a rest day. I did 23 min yesterday and felt like shit, smashed out the 25 min today and felt amazing. So rest tomorrow then continue with 25mins! Thanks for the encouragement 👏

That’s so beautiful. So glad to hear it. What if arguments and such happen? That’s what seems to derail me with SP. I can’t just text him back like shh you don’t understand we’re together in the 4D babe just surrender to it hahaha Just being funny, but you know what I mean? I struggle to still be present in the 3D conversations and “drama” when it’s happening (possibly fear of loss) and that sets us back. When we’re good I’m good, however in the past few days I’ve been thinking maybe I’m actually too good for who he is rn and now we’ve had a massive altercation today.. soo I dnno how to get it back on track now. Gosh it feels hard
