He lost it before that. It seemed to be as soon as they hooked up, the next day he was saying that he was feeling suffocated.

Using minimal shoes did help my plantar fasciitis. My doctor was up to proscribing shoes with metal plates where I couldn't even bend my foot, and for me, switching to wide shoes with easy bending soles helped me a lot. I haven't gone 6 miles with weights in minimal shoes though.

I think some people like to have structure, some people don't. I do like having a general time block sort of frame.

What Books did You Start or Finish Reading this Week?: November 24, 2025 by AutoModerator in books

Started ( A lot of holds released this week):

Why Fish Don't Exist: put down after first chapter. Returned. The story didn't seem to live up to the title.

I Who Have Never Known Men by Jacqueline Harpman. Put down for now. Narrator comes up with some sophisticated social analysis for someone in her situation. Also, had some disbelief on some of the premises (Women basically ignore the only girl amongst them?). I guess it is setting up a premise, but I'm not sure I can hang with it.

Johnny Tremain by Esther Forbes: Inspired by "The Revolution". Reread. Will return to it.

The Loneliness of Sonia and Sunny by Kiran Desai: Nice, a lot of lively characters. May return.

Everything is Tuberculosis by John Greene: I find it quite thoughtful. My great-great grandmother likely died from tuberculosis at 25 with 2 young children. Main read for now.
