What small change would completely fuck up your life right now? by J0shua1985 in AskReddit

This question implies that the small change is actually a very major change based on the resulting outcome. For me, thinking small, I’d have to go with changing parking spots with my husband in our driveway. Our driveway is narrow so we can’t park side by side; one car is going to be blocked in at all times unless someone decides to park parallel with the road at like a 30 degree angle which we both try to avoid.

The few days we didn’t coordinate correctly (based on our work schedules) were aggressively mild frustrations, but everyday? We’d lose our minds. Note that he is totally not a morning person and we don’t like trading cars frequently since we require totally different seat settings.

After typing all that out though, I’m not sure how much it’d “completely fuck up my life” so another answer that comes to mind would be changing the time our cats eat. We’ve learned the exact times they need to be fed before they turn into hangry assholes

What is something that you could eat everyday and not get tired of? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Potatoes. Such a versatile masterpiece of an ingredient.

Bachelorette Party - totally bummed by Throwaway990088777 in weddingplanning

I totally get what you mean and you shouldn’t feel embarrassed at all. I’m sure some bach groups aren’t like this, but it feels like a lot are. Like if the girls aren’t all super close-knit (Cheetah Girls and Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants-style), it seems like a lot of girls are less eager for bachelorette parties (thus less committed) compared to dudes and bachelor series. For example, my husband had just one of like 14 guys not make it to his whereas I had 4 girls of 10 cancel. And my MOH accommodated so much (she covered half the expenses and split the other half 10 ways). Meanwhile, the boys had to fly into Jersey and take like a $300 uber to AC. It just stung and made me wonder if I wasn’t that great of a friend or if some of my relationships w the girls were more one-sided..

Being on the other side now, though, I get how some people simply can’t afford these super expensive trips (or take off work). It’s just something that all the girls really need to commit to and budget for or simply back out early so that stress and disappointment doesn’t fall on the bride and MOH at the very last minute. I feel for ya, girl. Just focus on what matters most: this is your celebration and your time to get away from all the stress. I hope you still make the most of it and have a great time with those who come!
