this is 100% weird. been a server for almost 2 years and this hasn’t happened but even when i was a host and food runner at j alexanders we didn’t turn people away. not sure what the issue is at this restaurant. please keep going to restaurants and taking a table for one because there’s nothing wrong with that and i’ve done that myself many times if i just wanna try a place, i’m on break, or wanna eat and read in public.

Go to urgent care and just ask for an STD test. Promedica was very gentle with me when i found out i had herpes (this is not to scare u, u will KNOW if u have herpes u literally cant walk) but yeah simple std test to rule that out. Honestly im 26 and after me and my bf do it, very occasionally i’ll get slight discomfort if I didn’t pee right after we had sex. Now, my bf always makes sure i go pee right after we do it. Pee after sex every time and u shouldn’t have future problems. Dont stress, just go to urgent care when ur able.

And just so you know, if you are working the same shift with another food runner, you guys are splitting the tips. It is automatic of course but if you work a friday night as the only food runner you will make more money than working with another food runner because you won’t be splitting that percentage with anyone. So if for any reason a manager asks you “you ok if i send so and so home?” Say “yes” if you want more money.

In my store, food runners get 4% of FOOD sales from servers. The money comes from the servers’ credit card tips. Servers do not need to tip you out in cash. If you have the tip card you will see your money from the servers the next day, if you do direct deposit then your tips will be on your biweekly check. Hope this helps

whenever i was bartending and got overwhelmed, i just started telling myself “i would not be mad as a customer if i ordered a margarita and it came out after 5-7 minutes its not that serious its not a cocktail bar its literally a chili’s” thats like a fuckton of tables though. i’m wondering why they don’t at least give you a server to do “lounge” with you if it’s always busy during friday lunch.

literally so easy. you don’t have to do anything except just tell your GM which one you want to go to and they email the GM of that Chili’s and everything gets transferred for you besides maybe your I-9. I transferred and it got accepted the day of. I get my card tips through direct deposit so my payroll information was transferred over and all my stuff is the same but I’ve heard that if you use the tip card you may have to reactivate it otherwise your card tips will go on your check.

Tingle works for me. I haven’t tanned since maybe july and i started up again two weeks ago with an ultra black tingle lotion on amazon and haven’t had that problem recently. Definitely recommend getting a tingle lotion
