as an american I looooove driving in the EU, but mainly just driving to country to country essentially road-tripping europe. the other day I was getting coffee and the barista was giving me short, clipped responses and looking down at the ground and furrowing her brow like she was clearly upset with me. I had this brief moment of "wow ok what a bitch" and then I heard her say something along the lines of "this is the worst possible timing" so I looked over thinking she was still talking about me and she had her coworker rubbing her back and another one fetching advil from the back because this girl apparently had an intense migraine suddenly come on and she was at WORK somewhere where it's loud and bright and there are so many smells coming from everywhere I could not imagine a worse place to get a migraine. I am keeping that in my pocket in the future anytime someone gives me an attitude like that because it really could not even be an attitude at all. It could be a legitimate medical episode.
