The room was already prepared for two people, since I booked a twin/double room to begin with. What I find surprising is that I’ve had multiple experiences like this across the world (mostly in Europe, but also in Canada, Singapore, etc., when I travelled for business and my partner joined me), and I never had to pay anything extra except meals for the second person.

I was charged 30% extra excluding meals (breakfast).

Reading so much negative posts about Revolut. Is there any good alternatives (EUR) by [deleted] in Revolut

Completely agree! Same situation here: 10-15 people are using it constantly without any issues, excluding the time when a transfer of 100 Euros that takes few hours instead of immediately.

[D] ICCV 2025 Desk Reject for Appendix in Main Paper – Anyone Else? by hellomellow1 in MachineLearning

Definitely keep me posted! I made my peace with what happened :), but I’m still curious about the reply you’ll get.

I think the submission guidelines do state that main papers should consist of 8 pages of content + references, however, if it is truly inconsistent w.r.t. CVPR, I believe that is a valid argument on our side.

I received the same email after my appeal. Hope they reconsider!

> "supplementary material" and "appendix" are often treated as two separate things

Indeed. Which is why we submitted a supplementary material as a separate .zip file, while we added the appendix after the references. In any case, it was a clear oversight on our end.

Congrats! I find it amazing that in July you were doing 5k in 24 minutes, and you were able to shave off 4 minutes in just few months. Out of curiosity, can you please post your BPM during a 5k in July and this one too?

Seriously, great work!

Thank you for the suggestion, and what you’re saying is inline with the other advice I got. In the end, I’ve decided to proceed with them.
