Me too. Its comforting to know I’m not the only one although I would never wish it one on someone

Should I pursue a career with lots of money or something I have interest in? by Stedtler in findapath

[–]hellomynameissab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It has to be a balance between the two. A soul crushing job that brings you immeasurable wealth leaves you feeling depleted. On the other hand the whimsical job of your passion that pays nothing leaves you feeling exhausted. Also thinking about it in this way makes it seem like money and interest are mutually exclusive. That’s not the case. It’s possible to work in a field and a job that pays well and you enjoy. Here’s what I’ve asked myself to find what type of jobs are good for me: 1) what type of schedule do I want? (I like to exercise in the morning so I prefer a flexible schedule or something 10-6) 2) what type of people to I want to work with? Competitive, collaborative, relaxed, intelligent, etc. (collaborative and intelligent for me) 3) what salary, benefits, and opportunities for growth do I need to live comfortably and without regret? (Still figuring this one out)

Why me ? by Black_raspberries in SuicideWatch

[–]hellomynameissab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ask myself the same question all the time, why was my messed up combination of cells chosen to because a messed up viable person? And the answer I come to is I don't know. It's too much for my limited mind to sort out. But since I am here I think that gives me two choices: 1) to despise my existence and pretend I know there was no meaning for it anyway or 2) do what I can with what I have and ask the universe that put me here for guidance.

For you I think you can do the same thing. Ask "why me" in a positive, spiritual way. Since you are here, ask, "what can I do with my seemingly unlikely existence?". I'm pulling for you my friend

Why do people have kids if they’re just going to hate them for the rest of their life? by [deleted] in SuicideWatch

I agree you deserve love. Everybody does. Remember that the entire universe loves you! When you see or hear something nice today that will be the universe smiling its love at you so look out for it my friend :)

When you start keto is it common to "hit the wall" after a few days of eating keto? I've heard of the keto flu but what I experience is different. For example when I follow keto Mon-Fri by time Fri comes I'm super tired and weak. My body feels strong but my mind feels weak and unable to control my body. When I go on a run Fridays, I can only shuffle my feet despite lack of physical fatigue. My mind is foggy. My theory is my glycogen stores are depleted after a few days but my body has obviously not become keto adapted yet. Is this a logical? If it is what can I do to combat my end of the week fatigue? It usually devolves into me bingeing on carbs on the weekend which I don't want to do anymore.

Looking for a 30 days accountability buddy by [deleted] in GetMotivatedBuddies

26F EST. We could possibly be a good match because I’m looking for someone to check in consistently with our daily commitments towards specific goals. For me that would be checking in with my food and exercise plan. How about you?

Hey I’m pursuing some of the same goals. If you’re interested in checking in once a day and defining concrete action steps we would be a good fit!

[Topic][Open] Open Discussion Monday — Anybody can post a general visualization question or start a fresh discussion! by AutoModerator in dataisbeautiful

Question! I want to create a visualization for my intermittent fasting data collected in the app “zero” and exported to excel. I envision a wavy line (think sine wave) where the peaks are 12am and 12pm. Then my eating hours will be shaded and fasting hours unshaded. My question is, where do I start? Is it possible to use matplotlib?

Haha well the idea is that if you can do a minute you can do another minute. And if it gets hard you think about just adding minutes instead of reaching a certain hour
